You powerpointed your own opinion into the old fox's mouth, man. Nice job.

China ultimately wants no part of any war with the United States. The American military is light years ahead of China. The gap is even larger than people realize.

With all due respect, you should attempt to stop putting your own opinions into the mouths of other members.

I found a similar map the US has regarding it's first strike capabilities to destroy the Chinese mainland...

    1. Make friends with kids of Chinese generals living in the U.S.
    2. Take your overseas vacations at the same time as the said kids.

    Problem solved.

Should be an obvious thing to everyone, and yet here we are, a pointless bait thread to gather all the out of shape armchair generals so they can high five themselves over our inflated military budget.

Yes, as opposed to actual generals in China. Good call.

Well context... this feels more like how the soviets used to parade their weapons around to pump themselves up while the U.S. was actually decades ahead. Most people should see this as political saber rattling. How many boycotts/protests do you see from all the "they took our jobs" rhetoric that was going around last election?

Even something like this got very little national airplay.

However, as an Asian American, I'm uniquely aware how little sensitivity is given to the Asians vs. other minorities, especially in media. At the same time I don't think you can underplay how the views of Asians being less vocal and sensitive hinders some progress of individuals in that racial group.

My problem regarding China is entirely with the Chinese government, not the Chinese people. There's a huge difference.

Luckily, the cheap parts will have them failing soon after they get them out of the box, not to mention all the trouble with lead poisoning.

China will collapse soon because the Chinese are dropping like flies from their dirty environments. An entire village or province is known as cancer valley.

    China is its worse enemy.

An excellent book to read is " Dealth by China".... can't remember the name of the authors, I think it was written by two writers.

It's safe to say that a Chinese nuclear attack would kill far more liberals than tea party activists. Thus, such an attack could make Ted Cruz president.

That alone might be our best deterrent to an attack. Not surprised the Chinese paper failed to mention this. It would undermine their little map for sure.

Why can't we all live in a yellow submarine together, in peace forever?

I have no issues with the Chinese people. I have zero respect for the Chinese government and their minions.

It's weird, I saw this title Death by China in my Netflix screen and I knew right away that esteban was somewhere reading the book.

I don't know; they have a billion people to feed and move from the third world to the first. I'm sure they see themselves as pragmatist. Self-defense including the procurement of resources along with the galvanizing effect of jingoism are expected tacts.
