yep. you had a black shirt on, and were just standing at the matre d preparing to get seated. You were looking your Fatty FatBastard best.

As I was walking past you I thought, ****, that's Fatty FatBastard. I was blanking out on your real name though, so excuse me for not tapping you on the shoulder to say, "hey, Fatty FatBastard...how are you doing?"

    lol

Well, I haven't actually been to Dolce Vita......was supposed to go Saturday, but I had some kind of virus all weekend.

Dolce Vita's chef/owner is Marco Wiles of Da Marco where I've had one of my best meals in Houston. That being said, I can't really think of any meal I've ever had in Houston that I could claim was better than one I've had at Mark's. If I had to pick one meal as the best, it would probably be Mark's (but Da Marco has been up there).

yeah, I meant to say Da Marco's (i've never been), and remember you saying Mark's was your best meal. What did you get, btw?

Dolce Vita is fun. Been twice, only for pizza and appetizers though. The calamari was excellent. and I was very surprised how much I loved the eggplant/balsamic vinegar appetizer, too.
