An NBA season can be very inpredictable. If the Rockets make the playoffs it will be freaking inbelievable! It will be Uncredible!
LOL I found that SO FUNNY. Hahahaha. But yeah, I'm pretty sure we could go to the playoffs, given we play like we have recently, against the better teams, and, at home. We currently have a record of 23 - 31 The Lakers (8th) currently have a record of 27 - 26. Obviously, they will be pushing towards the playoffs as well. Let's say they get 3 games ahead of .500. That would be 43 - 39. We need to get at least 44 wins in that situation. We have 28 games to go. We need to get 21 wins in those games. So we can afford 7 losses. For every game we lose, we need a 3 game winning streak, or 3 games won for it. That shouldn't be undoable, but that's no easy task given the schedule. In any case, I believe. Go Rockets! Playoffs, here we come! For all you motherf*ckers that think the Rockets won't make the playoffs, f*ck you.
I don't want to answer for him, but he seemed like he would be cool with it all if we make the playoffs. Anyway, this thread is not an 'in your face' thread to those that have thought we wouldn't make the playoffs, just a way to support the comeback.
The ironic (dumb?) part of their original thread was to tank for Texas' Daniel Gibson. Without tanking, the Rox currently have the #9 pick. Gibson meanwhile has played himself down to the #17 pick. (Source: nbadraft.net). IOW, we'd have a shot at Gibson even if we were the WC #8 playoff seed. That's why I don't mind this thread. It brings a smirk to my face.
i don't inderstand. We should stop using inderhanded techniques to get better draft position. If we get a bad draft position, it will be inderwhelming.
