I don't care how deep in the doghouse Rafer is in, when JVG is putting Moochie out on the floor, you know that Rafer is hurt.
Do you know if he is coming back because he is HEALED up? or is he just coming back because of the losing streak? I'd rather he sits out and fully heals than rushes back for 1 or 2 games and then has to sit another 8 or 10. Thanks for the updates by the way!
Thanks for the scoops! Lots of bad news, except for your great news about McGrady. I'm another one of those who's wondering if Tracy is coming back sooner than he should because of the losing streak. I hope not. We need him healthy and consistantly on the court, not coming back and forth trying to battle through it. Anything you can add would be much appreciated. Thanks again.
I saw him at the TC last night in that little practice gym dribbling the ball and shooting threes w/ Ward. If there's an injury it's not a real big one.
T-Mac has been shooting every pregame too, but he's injured and not playing. Why is everybody doubting Skip?
with Barry out we need Alston to come back ASAP or Moochie will start to get more mins. (not a good thing)
So it sounds like when Alston has written on the board 5,000 times "I will listen to my coach" and has shot 5,000 3pt attempts then he will be allowed off the bench?
Surprise, surprise, McGrady will play just in time for the Hawks game. Play well T-Mac, a W is needed to save a few jobs.
Man, that is outstanding news! This is how it was described, seemingly a lifetime ago, by ESPN: McGrady hurt his back in practice Friday when he landed awkwardly after a baseline layup, trainer Keith Jones said. The injury is a recurrence of a back problem that plagued McGrady when he played in Orlando, Jones said. Jones said McGrady went to the hospital on Friday night and tests showed the injury wasn't as serious as it's been in the past. "All that structural stuff was good," Jones said. "This is more of a compression injury and basically a bruise around the spine -- not the spinal cord, but the spine itself." http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2214888 That was November 6th, which is roughly in line with the time frame given then on when he was expected back. What puzzles me, as someone who's had back surgery for a herniated disc (no fun), is how he's repeatedly (apparently... it's multiple times, as in more than twice) bruised his spine. Jones says, "All that structural stuff was good," but wouldn't some kind of weakness, or damage, be behind it's recurrence? Is it damaged muscle tissue? Maybe I missed the memo, but I've never been really clear on what this recurring problem is. When Tracy is healthy, he's arguably the best player in the NBA. Any light you could shed would be appreciated.
Anyone knows for sure is probably TMac's doctor & Keith Jones, either one of them is not gonna tell you if they want to keep the job. Let's all just hope it's not a recurring thing, and this time TMac is healed up 100% and will play at least 4 completely healthy season for us.
After watching the team play for several games, maybe he doesn't want to come back! Maybe he is having Magic flashbacks.
