The idea is not strengthening by playing, the idea is that resting WILL NOT make it any better. So he might as well get used to whatever tweak he's feeling.

Talk about exaggerating matters. You are so full of hate for Tmac and Alston, you are the one who has lost credibility with anything you say if the topic has to do with them.

You constantly bash Rafer as being a horrific shooter that is handicapping this team, yet you dont mention his field goal percentage is better then Ron Artest's right now. Also, he is only .07 percentage points behind Aaron Brooks. Both players that you are in love with. And honestly so far this year, his shot selection hasnt been any worse then those two guys.

You say Tmac is a wus yet he played more games then Artest last year with two injuries that required surgery to none for Artest. And despite being injured so far this year, he has easily outplayed Artest.

Im not a Tmac or Alston lover, or a Artest or Brooks hater. I see strengths and weaknesses in all of them. You fail to do so and that is starting to make your posts all fall into the roll eyes category.

    qft.

dr. dd is really annoying with all his bashing. i mean, it's not like he expresses his opinion once and then it's all good. he's firing away on every opportunity he gets in almost every thread.

Tracy saying, "...back to square one" last night -- then practicing today without an MRI isn't exaggerating ?

Yao#1 never said it wasn't. It is, but I think the majority of people can see that it was a knee-jerk reaction by McGrady. His knee was probably hurting but after a night's rest it felt much better.

yeah, that whole thing was pretty weird. i was thinking great - more surgery, months off and then maybe back for the playoffs....then he's on the court again the next day. perhaps he should wait and see how he feels the next day before, ya know, any 'knee jerk' commentary.

Don't talk about class when you are calling a player for a team you supposedly root for a vagina. Stop posting.

You can call it hating all you want, I call it like I see it, Tmac exaggerates for the drama it creates (how is that cracked elbow BTW?), and Rafer is a horrible shooter.

Both of those are true, I just don't nut hug on NBA players, if they are sucking and hurting my beloved Rockets, I will say it, if they are doing well, I will praise them.

You guys would get buried in Philly....this is nothing.

In what alternative universe is 43.5% versus 36.7% only a difference of .07 percentage points?

    Link to stats

Maybe if you did more time actually researching things instead of railing on someone who actually knows the game, you might make a point one day.

    Bummer for you though....

    :D

I see where you guys are coming from in that he needs to rest. And I certainly don't have a problem with him resting a few games - but at the same time I would rather not have him sit out for an extended period of time.

For one thing, resting too much may give his body some unneeded relief that is not preferable for the rigors of a season. Another thing is that - yeah we all know we are going to make the playoffs, but it's one thing to make the playoffs and it's another to be one of the top four seeds. And I think home court advantage is critical. We should have it for the first round at the very least. I do notice that the East is improving significantly and at this point both conferences look even, but the West is still the more dominant conference and we cannot afford to be trailing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm about the biggest T-mac fan ever, and yeah, there's a chance that he may get seriously injured if he does not rest, but that's a risk I believe we have to take given the fierce competitive nature of the Western conference. It's good news that he feels like he may be able to play in Dallas tomorrow though!

Hah, that is true.....but he said .07 percentage points....which is what I was referencing.

A 7% difference in shooting is a MASSIVE difference.

I don't mind people loving on the team, but don't whine about the whiners.....let us be...

Absolutely. Brooks however, imo only knows two things - drive or shoot. Maybe with more play time his passing will come. Time will tell.
