I say play all 3. This might be the only chance we can get all 3 together on the court together again
If Artest and Tmac are ready, play 'em. Yao's injury is not going to be made worse by playing him, it may slow him down and limit his minutes or effectiveness so play him as well.
Sigh... why the hell would you have him start? He needs to come off the bench until he has proven he is back for good period! Adelman is freaking clueless.
I guess im more hesitant to let yao play than you guys, especially if Mac and ron are back... I just dont want another season ending injury...but if he feels he can play and it wont bother him... Let him go for it I guess.
"It's your man, T-Mac If you jumped off this wagon, you made a big mistake. With sports sunday, it's coming up....next" Hilarious when he said next. It was obvious that he had forgotten to say it. He seemed nervous and or shy.
Rip is playing more minutes then Johnson, so it doesn't matter that he's starting, Hamilton is getting the most minutes.
Ok ok So I was wrong!
I watched some of their game last night, and it seemed like Johnson was started, but I wasn't for sure..
Are they still playing small ball for the most part or are Johnson and Maxiell seeing an increase in PT?
The problem is that we're on the cusp. A loss here or there means were watching the playoffs instead of playing in them. We can't afford to drop a game or two.
This is true, but they aren't running the "small" lineup as much as they were before. They are playing a more standard lineup for more minutes and less with Stuckey, Rip and AI on the court at the same time.
By all means Yao should play this one. Yao's new improved fluidity should put a shame on both Wallace and Brown defending him. I think he's good to go and there's no way Tracy with no Yao will help this team at this point.
I say play them all. Piston's quick lineup should be a test to see how we'll do in the playoffs, as well as our stars' current condition.
Nuggets' George Karl reportedly toyed with the idea of playing a three-guard lineup against the Rockets, saying that we don't have a lot of size outside of Yao. Of course, that was with McGrady and Artest out. The Pistons might think the same and give some minutes to the lineup of AI, Stuckey and Rip. With McGrady just coming back and probably a little rusty, Detroit might opt for speed instead of size.
