I know how you feel...last game I was concerned with James Lang and not Gilbert Arenas. ;)

I think that Lamar is underrated. He is just as physically gifted as Tmac.

    From Feigen's latest blog entry:

While on the subject of McGrady, not much new. He was sore and stiff when he came in for treatment on Sunday, but did respond to the treatment, which is considered a good sign. There really is no predicting how he will feel Monday, or Tuesday when the Rockets play the Lakers. He would not have been close to able to play on Sunday.

If he is responding to treatment - something that did NOT happen last year - he'll play Tuesday. His back never really improved last year. It just kept getting worse. If he was improving prior to treatment and the treatment helped, this is minor.

I'll believe it when I see it, but this is definitely good news.

Odom is highly underrated. When he's not deferring to Kobe, he's among the premier talents of the NBA. If the Lakers had not traded Butler (idiotic move), and with the emergence of Bynum the Lakers would be much better right now than they are.

At the rate TMac's back is going, I think he will retire after his contract is up. Sad to see such a special player go down especially one that plays for the Rockets.

Maybe they need to evaluate the way he is stretching pre-game. I know each play goes through their own routine during warm-ups.

    Hope you get better!

Thanks for the kind words. The good thing is that one can go out and enjoy the rest of what life has to offer.(once I got it through my thick head that I couldn't hoop any longer)

As far as Tracy goes,we'll keep our fingers crossed and let the bigman do the heavy lifting.

 No. No losses just because "We don't have T-Mac." The Rockets need to win all or lose only one game until he gets healthy, cause we need to prove that the Rockets can win with one All-Star without over-using Yao and becoming a team depressed and feeling hopeless like they felt last year when they came out of the starting gate with a horrible record. Yao and T-Mac played great when they did heal, but the rest of the team had no confidence since they had no co-leaders for much of the season. It could happen again if there is several disappointing losses that should have been victories. Two losses in a row while T-Mac is gone for a couple or a few weeks (worst case scenrio), and then you could be looking at playoff team lose 20 straight and no longer in contention. Yao is great, but not yet able to carry the team every game like Hakeem Olajuwan. Yet.

The Rockets recently detached themselves from blowing big leads, but if they can keep the score close or have a lead going into the fourth quarter in a game without T-Mac, the ENTIRE team should be able to handle it. This can prove we have a Finals worthy team.

that sucks. indefinietly usually means a week or two. unless its like broken back or somehting lol. but in this case its not, so i give him a week and he'll be back. with his back.

I think the "indefinitely" is somehow misleading. I really dont like the way they said it because it sounds worse than it really is. I think Tmac will be out for this game and the GS game just to get some rest and see how the team performs without him then we get him back for the LA game in LA on Friday. that game would be a back2back so it makes sense that we rest him for the "easy" Golden states game and get him fresh for the back2back to show Kobe who is boss.

nope im afraid it sounds much worse according to his status. indefinite means its an unkown amount of time and that they really dont know.. if its going to be 2-5 days they will just say tmac is out for a week.. but this means he could be out for much longer or they just dont know.. maybe he wont come back at all HOPEFULLY NOT!!
sucks since he started playing so agresssive the last game.. ahhh oh well
