What I am most looking forward to with PJ Tucker is him playing with physicality at the PF spot. Someone that can get nasty, get rebounds and be a good defender. Someone that can switch on defense. And of course contribute as a corner 3pt shooter.

I fully expect PJ Tucker to be in the "closing lineup" with Ryan Anderson on the bench.

Yes, He will be able to play the 4 spot and will not clog the lanes for Harden, Paul and Capela.

Tucker also shot over 40% on uncontested corner 3's.

I have a slight feeling that PJ is going to replace that bulldog mentality we loved so much about Pat. Might have replaced Wolverine with Sabretooth.

As sad as it is, SAS is smarter than a lot of active posters on CF. SAS is also not dumb (which a lot of posters here just are) and purposely says inflammatory things to drive entertainment.

Now that Melo is gone, can we start working on trading for Patrick Beverley?

Tuckwagon just doesn't have the same ring to it unfortunately.

    Why is it slight?

    Of course he is.

Everytime I've remembered throughout this offseason that we brought in PJ Tucker - I get so giddy.

People are really underestimating just what he's going to do for this team.

I am not as confident as you guys are with PJ guarding 4's .

I respect that he's got bulk . But I just don't know if 6'5" is big enough. What is his wingspan ?

I think Trevor and Luc will be our primary defensive guys to stop 4's ... And maybe even Clint .

Not saying I agree/disagree with you.

But the Chuckwagon is testament that you don't need to be as tall as the other players to defend them effectively.

Chuck was a monster . I think he is more the exception than the norm .. But we will see if PJ can also be exceptional guarding bigs .

I think I'm today's stretch environment he will be fine . But like everything , there will be good match ups for him and bad match ups.

I think we did a lot to help the front court so situations like the spurs ( when harden had to guard gasol and LA ) won't happen . Veterans like black and pj and Luc are infinitely more playable in playoff situations than Dekker and Harrell ( and I liked Dekker and Harrell)

All in all the only "hole" I see in our roster is a 4th guard . Maybe Luc can play there . But I think we lack a bit of quickness / depth if one of our 3 headed monster goes down . I like Brazilian PG to claim that role . Or maybe Bobby brown surprises.

I was referring to his reputation for making wrong predictions.

Somebody who flipped a coin every year during the past 6 finals to determine the winner would have had a better chance than stephen to determine the winner.
