Kevin Johnson broke his foot and could be out for the entire season :(

    KJ Dillon tore his ACL

What is up with Kareem Jackson? Joseph is in and out of games. We are running on fumes in the secondary.

Sad days ahead. Set course for some more blowouts.

Kev was starting to emerge big time as the best cover corner on this team. Big blow.

I am sure we could pry him away.

I thought this was a secondary thread but you are right. :)

Jackson should hopefully be back soon. He didn't think he'd miss any time with the initial injury, and that is now 3 weeks ago.

Joseph isn't much better than a replacement level player as is.

KJ was showing some improvement in one-on-one and defending some passes.

It was one of the strengths of the team. They still get above average safety play. The front 7 creating havoc should continue to keep them afloat, regardless of who's back there.

This is def a dumb question but has it ever happened to where a team has all these athletes at WR like we do and they get hit with the injury bug in the secondary, have they ever thrown a WR out there lol? I'm a Texas tech fan and we have the shittiest defense in the world and a dick load of offensive talent and I've always wondered why not just throw some WR out there to check the opponents WR?

Kevin Johnson is a HUGE blow, imo he has been the best CB on the team this season

Obviously the Patriots have done this. Troy Brown and then Julian Edelman have both lined up on the defensive side when their DBs group has been depleted. Idk if this team has the athletes to do that.

We were already playing James, damn.

Hope the pass rush can maintain.

KJ should have time to return, 2+ months still remain.

Kareem and Joseph listed as starters on the unofficial depth chart. I will say that Bouye has looked good this season after a down season last year. James is too short and small.. him out there is not a good thing.

I feel bad for Charles James. He's almost ALWAYS in the right position to make plays, but he's just too small to be out there. The football seems to always be just out of his reach.

Yet, he knows how to be exactly right place right time when it comes to telling the fans what they should do with their time and money.

RANKING ALL 32 NFL SECONDARIES ENTERING WEEK 7

    3. Houston Texans (10)
Current nickel package: CB Johnathan Joseph, CB A.J. Bouye, SCB Kevin Johnson, S Andre Hal, S Quintin Demps

The surprise out of this group has been former UDFA A.J. Bouye, who has certainly earned his playing time. He currently just edges out Chris Harris Jr. for the top coverage grade among cornerbacks this season, and has yet to surrender over 100 receiving yards on the year. Oddly enough, Johnathan Joseph has the lowest coverage grade in the Texans’ secondary after ranking among the best coverage cornerbacks in the league last season. The Houston secondary has also not had the benefit of J.J. Watt’s seemingly constant pressure on quarterbacks this season.

Bouye was a great find; surprised to see that about Joseph
