The Kai injury must have been serious enough to go without a kicker the rest of the game, but not so serious he couldn't walk normally. Hopefully it's a relatively minor strain.
It's strange, because back in August they said he suffered a minor hamstring against the Saints, and was not expected to be sidelined for more than four games.
I think the Special Teams player we had in the preseason was a punter rather than a kicker. So I'm not sure who is on our Rolodex.
Not having Ward and Pitre together back there against Burrow will suck. And it will suck double when you consider how inconsistent the pass rush is.

Here's my new NFL rule change: You get to carry an "emergency kicker" who is not on the active roster...if you use him in a game your active PK has to sit out that game and the next ~3 or so
