He was force-fed the ball, without taking wins into consideration at all. It was evident they were just trying to manufacture that ROY for him to create some buzz in Sacramento. There's a reason why nobody was biting when Sacto put him on the table as available through trade.

And even with the schedule the way it is, you still face those guys the same number of times. Dragic isn't entering into a different level of basketball by going to PHX.....he faces the same players he would have faced if he was a Rocket.

 

if cousins and other players on the kings increased their production Evans probally would be getting a double double in points and assists every night.

Yeah he is entering a different level of basketball because he's gonna have
1. increased minutes (at least in the beginning but if he sucks then telfair will take his minutes)
2. replacing future HOF
3. the last two weeks of the season is always an expected playoff race in phoenix (at least that's how it was when nash was there )

Personally, I don't think Dragic will hold up physically and if things get tough he might fold and fake an injury to milk the season.

 

Rose for all intensive purposes has a huge question mark after the knee injury, but besides that Evans production speaks for itself.

Evans production and minutes played speaks for itself. Can Dragic do what Evans is doing now that he is Phoenix? Dragic is gonna have to put up Evans like numbers for the Suns to even have a chance.

Again, I don't think it's gonna happen for Dragic.
