Talented player and allegedly Battier's best friend in the league.

3 seperate trades for numbers would work:

    1.
    HOU: Dunleavy + Mobley
    IND: Douglas (29th pick) + Jeffries + Cook + non-guaranteed filler (Crawford + Hunter)
    NYK: McGrady

    2.
    NYK: Diener via TE (Q-Rich)

    3.
NYK: Taylor (32nd pick) via TE (Roberson)

Rockets: Get under LT by $3.4M. Flexibility to absorb salary in future trade/s. Over $18M worth of expiring contracts to take advantage of a trade deadline salary dump.

Pacers: Cut $2.6M in future salary. Pick up a first rounder (29th) from this draft.

Knicks: Clear $7.9M of 2010 salary.

I like guys who can stand up for their opinions, but I doubt it very seriously if he can bring toughness to any team. Yes,I have seen that photo of him, taking a kick to the mouth. There is a lot more to toughness or "Thugness".A slightly, above average player at his best, with an injury history, 9.7 M this upcoming season and 10.5 M next season,no thanks.

Interesting contrast with what the Rocket brass is willing to reveal to the public regarding McGrady's timetable.

They might not know when he can get ready, and with him it's impossible to know anyway.
