46 TS% with -2.2 BPM.. Ty was still a huge negative influence for the Pacers during the regular season... it's just that it's gotten even worse during the playoffs (30 TS% with -12.7 BPM) To be honest, I don't expect him getting that much playing time from here on out.

It's true. Lawson gave up $13.2 million in guaranteed money when he was traded to Houston. It's crazy to do when you're a good player. It's even crazier when you suck as bad as Lawson does now.

Morey has had a terrible season but it was incredible foresight by him.
Or maybe Lawson was drunk and did it on a double dare.

He should go back to drinking, it's clearly affecting his game. Everything in moderation.

Who here will confess they were willing to give up two first round picks for Lawson?

The aftermath of playing with Harden. Brewer is going thru the same thing.

I still believe we should have kept Lawson. Hes in a terrible situation & I think under the guidance of JVG he could have been awesome for us

Wasn't Brewer nearly a stud in Minnesota? He had a 51 pt night against Harden, Garcia and Parsons.

Brewer was pretty good last year too, that's why Morey resigned him.

As to playing with Harden, I think Durant and Westbrook may have more things to say about that than Lawson.

Not really surprising, if you look at his game log, they played only two teams with winning records (Chicago and Toronto) - and he was a -9 and -12 in those two games.

Basically he sucks, and that's what some people have been trying to say all along, but it's easier to say that it's Harden's fault.

I dunno. Kevin Durant and Westbrook looked pretty good playing with harden. Yes he's a ball hog but let's wait until we get a coach that has a brain to run an effective system around him. Morey and this coaching staff is hanging harden out to dry because he's the only one that can score and Howard can only hit his shots in practice

It's also easy to just say he sucks. Which doesn't say anything. Along with that -9 and -12, that might lead to something, but you stopped short of looking a little deeper.

The only reason this thread was brought up is to defend Harden, which wouldn't even be needed if blame wasn't thrown around like candy.

Like Harden could probably give two ****s about what a lot of people say about him, so you're not really defending him...

"Lawson's skill set did not fit the Rockets, and it wasn't in their best interest to take the ball out of the hands out of their best player to appease Lawson's skillset. There is also a possibility that mental and physical issues may have played a part in his performance."

That's not necessarily the truth either, because if anyone is close to the truth, it's Lawson himself and the Rocket's organization, not us fans.

And it gives possible things to ask without damning either player.

Thanks. I'm glad that this definitive proof has been presented that Harden has no faults / there are no issues with his style of play.

Let's all just consider this topic complete now.

(But seriously, this sucks for Ty. I was a fan of his in years past).

I don't think Lawson's fall has anything to do with harden. The guy looked completely drained of all fire and energy for the game. I said it before but it reminds me of how vin baker just looked like toast. Like there was some misconnected wires in the brain that just didn't allow him to jump start the engines Anymore

Yea...misconnected wires alright. It's called alcohol. He sobered up and went into suck mode.

Did this thread go from some jokes about playing with Harden to actual conversation about whether Harden is hurting teammates? Lol.

Still can't believe some idiots on this forum completley absolved Ty of all blame and placed it on Harden's shoulders.

You still see the same people in this very thread refusing to give up their ****ty agendas despite Lawson failing in another system with different teammates & coaches.

Ty Lawson looked like dog doodoo with or without Harden on the floor

    his problem is alcohol

that said, this doesn't definitively prove anything about Harden being ball dominant and how it affects the PG's he plays with.

If Lawson's basketball problem is indeed alcohol related, then he is one of the biggest damaged goods we have acquired.
