That's the genius of Phil Jackson!? Find a great player who "wants it" and ride him to an NBA championship!?

    What's Popovich doing? Dunleavy?

Look at the teams and their performance...

They don't have 2 of the top 10 players in the league on their teams.

Dunleavy and Popovich don't have two of the most dominant players in the league playing their best ball at the same time.

At the same time...through all the problems and tribulations...without combusting like Portland...unselfishly...lesser talented players feeling as important as the stars...thus is the genius of Phil Jackson.

I'd like to believe that, but these playoffs are rapidly coming to resemble a Godzilla movie, where the army trots out one obstacle after another, only to have the monster casually torch it and lumber on to the next city.

Professor: Well, general, so much for your so-called "ultimate weapon."

General Popovich: (sobbing) I don't understand ... the Twin Towers should have stopped it cold!

    (Screams are heard outside.)

Reporter standing at window: Oh, no ... it's headed for Milwaukee!

Colonel "Rocks" Millenium: That may be just the break we need. We'll have the Big Three, our long-range bombers, waiting for it ...

You remind me of Isaiah Thomas and Bill Laimbeer...
