I'll be there with my old-school red ROCKEtS t-shirt with the white lettering and the jerry west logo.

so it's Wizards? where is that again? what time does the game start?

now is a good time to be a rockets fan.

p.s. RM95. . . what a difference a year makes. I have now officially become as negative toward mack brown as you've been since last year.

Wizards is on the east side of 75, just north of Spring Valley Rd. It's next to Pappadeaux, and kinda sneaks up on ya. Games at 6, I'll show up around 5 or so.

    See you there.

Dang, there was a lot of posts after I left mine at 4pm! I'll be wearing my Olajuwon Olympic Jersey and my Rockets visor (only thing that comes close to Rockets gear for me). I'll be there at 5pm also.

Finally there is some Rockets hope in Dallas!! Hopefully we can all get together for a lot of Rockets games this season! :D

Oh crap! I didn't realize the game was starting so early. I have church on Wednesday night, but my church is very close to Wizard's so I was planning on coming by afterward. Now it looks like I'll be there for tip-off, but I'll have to leave a little after 7:00. Also, that means no beer for me.

Anyway, it will be good just meet everybody, even if I don't get to stay for the whole game.

Church? Pfft. It's opening night man! ;) :p

I went back to Macho Pizza last night and asked them about getting the league pass and they weren't sure yet. I could eat at that place every night.

Hey RM95, sorry to hear that you were having problems w/ ATT on the League Pass. I wish I could get it, but can't afford it right now :(

But at least we can all hang out together and watch the Rockets games at Wizards. Hopefully maybe Macho Pizza, since it might be cheaper there, might have the NBA League Pass. But either you or I can call and find out.

Since I don't have much of anything else going on today (outside of going to see Punch Drunk Love in about an hour) I will try to be there around 5:00 as well, RM95. We can see who sucks worse at shuffleboard.

Guys, I had a great time w/ our first get-together of DRBA! We definitely got to do it again! I don't know about Wizards (that waitress was a b****), but if you guys want it there again, doesn't matter w/ me :)

And I started that "Steve's Dribblin" thread again! It sucked that Francis just took over as if he was running a 1-man offense!

Yeah, I had a good time despite the results of the game. Like I said, I am glad I was there with newly met people, because this was the type of game that would have ruined my night had I watched it alone. In the future let's hope for a better showing from the Rockets, and more minutes for Ming.

Now let us never speak of this game again. ;)

    Yes, great time.

    Yes, horrible waitress.

At Machos, we won't have that problem. :D

Since I don't have League Pass at this point, there's pretty much an open invitation to watch games whenever and wherever.

Hey, the waitress wasn't so bad...until we had more than five guys there. It was like she just went deaf suddenly.

Anyway, it was good to meet you guys. Hope to do it again sometime.

Sorry I missed the festivities fellas, but my dog was at the vet all day with a herniated disc in her back.

I had to stay home with her last night.

    Next time..........

yes, i agree we should do it again. When I told people what I was going to do last night, they kinda laughed at me. "You're meeting guys you don't know to watch a basketball game?" Talking like it was the weirdest thing in the world, but I mean come on, anytime you go to a sports bar to watch an out-of-town game, you'll be watching it with a bunch of guys you don't know. This was a lot better, I got to watch the game with the CC.net crew. Anyways, when I got home everyone wanted to know how it went and the details. Overall, it was real enjoyable to watch the game with some die-hards for a change. Lots of Rudy-bashing, Steve-dribbling-hating, Ming-watching, Eddie-cursing, Kelvin-eye-rubbing-to-see-if-we-were-all-dreaming. Maybe next time we can pull out a win and see a more eye-pleasing game. Hope no one got scared away!! Anyone else interested in coming out next time, don't worry, we're all cool dudes
