yes ive seen lost in translation and i like it to. i detest the way the mother and daughter in that show have dialogue with each other. its really really annoying and really bad acting in my opinion. yes different strokes, not everyone can have good taste in things. if everyone did you wouldnt have crap like soulja boy, etc.
I'll be watching from the 2 hour preview with the actors to the Jimmy Kimmel Show (also with the actors) the one thing I did hear was that Lindelof and Cuse are going into hiding for a little while, to let the show speak for itself ...
Kimmel asked them last week if they meant they would never talk about it again or if they would talk in a couple of years and they kind of said that it wouldn't take that long. So they'll talk about it eventually, just not right away.
So, I'm guessing some of you aren't watching it right now? West Coast? So I guess we shouldn't discuss the actual contents of the finale in the this thread.
i still have two and a half hours to go, but this preview show starts up in the next 30 minutes... yeah I like the idea of this thread being for those who must absolutely force themselves not to read the other thread for the rest of the night. i did that during the regular season but no sir, not for the big game tonight.
I've been waiting for the reaction to the series finale before starting to watch Lost. I can't stand long waiting periods for shows like this, I like to tear through them in a month or two. Did the finale answer the questions or just leave everyone hanging to figure it out on their own?
Depends on the questions. The finale just pretty much wrapped up the main story and didn't go out of its way to explain past events that weren't immediately relevant to the current storyline.
Are you satisfied with how the series ended? Was it worth the time you put in watching it? Would you recommend to someone who hasn't watched a single episode to watch it all?
I am. I thought the finale was awesome. I think the majority of LOST fans are satisfied but there are always going to be people that 1) don't like it and 2) don't get it and don't like it because they don't get it. I would recommend it. I'll probably start rewatching it again myself when they release the complete series DVD box set in August if not sooner.
I decided to start watching Lost before season 6 started and I blasted through the first 5 seasons in a month watching it online. It was probably one of the best, if not the best, tv series I've ever watched. Very satisfied with the way the series ended.
with an hour left in this episode, the last two posts are all i need to know. i like where this is going.
Yes. An old roommate borrowed season one from his girl, and he proceeded to disappear into his room for a week watching it. Then I borrowed it, and the same thing happened to me. I got in bed one night thinking I'd watch an episode or two and then crash. Next thing I knew it was daylight, I'd been up all night, and I was halfway through that first season. It's easily one of the best shows I've ever watched. As others have mentioned, starting at the beginning is imperative.
I started watching at the beginning of Season 2 and I got the Season 1 DVD's that Christmas. I blazed through it in 3 days. Pretty much 8 episodes a day.
From visiting other forums, I'll say this about the finale. The people who hate the finale and are calling the previous 6 years a waste seem to all be people who don't understand what actually happened in the finale.
