On holidays perhaps. He might like to see some sights in Houston town.

On the bball front you could not find a big enough facepalm.gif for this thread

What are the salary rules with coaches? Could we theoretically offer him 50 billion dollars a year to coach the team without breaking any sort of rule? Serious question.

    There are no rules.

I believe he was going to be heading up the Seattle franchise, and will probably not take any job with anyone, even the Lakers, without being offered that.

    Why would we downgrade?

We don't need a Phil. He's overrated as an Xs and Os guy. I'd rather have an Xs and Os guy than someone who just lucked into MJ, Shaq and Kobe.

PJ's triangle offense style will surely be effective for harden.

He doesn't seem like a Houston kind of guy.

This is why I even thought about this. Then factor the fact Dwight wanted him, and he was going to LA until Buss pulled that d@ck move and hired Dantoni. Look at this team now, we're the closest thing to Kobe & Shaq without the drama. I love Kobe, but Harden is probably easier to handle then he was in his early 20's. Phil like Dwight but recently said Mchale wasn't using him right

Overrated? Hardly. The man is the ZEN MASTER.

How many teams in the past decade have won a championship without a superstar?

Phil Jackson was never noted as Xs &Os guy, something he's admitted himself. He got his assistants to handle drawing up plays during games.

If people complain about adjustments now. Phil would drive them to the brink, he rarely called for timeouts. Like Adelman he prefers for his players to work it out for themselves.

I'll never forget Phil saying, "get the F*** out of my face," to a cameraman as he walked off the court @CHI after the Rockets ended their long home streak.

That's what it appeared to be.

There was no volume on him.

Little known secret, Phil Jackson won because he had Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'neal, that is all.

My Lebron sign and trade idea is more likely than Phil coaching us.
