meh, just imagine him playing at C in this era. He was so skinny and probably would've looked really bad against centers now.
Hakeem Olajuwon - 7'0 255 lb I quickly looked up the height / weight of several top centers in the NBA today and they are not significantly different than that. Maybe you've just been watching too much grainy TV footage?
This is my favorite Dream tribute video. Obviously, the championship years were filled with glorious highlights, but go to 3:23 where Dream dunks on Magic, Kareem, and Rambis... then the next clip he dunks on McHale, Bird, and Parish. That's legendary. Who can top that? No one. That's who.
Speaking of reading, try this post. He said: In my response, I was pointing out that Dream could score against double and triple teams, including ones brought by three HOFers.
He's wasn't really 7' tall. He was probably 6'10". To answer the question, he could play either but he'd probably be a C since those are harder to come by these days.
Center for sure, it's easier to find a PF to fit around Hakeem's style than a C to fit around it. It really wouldn't matter either way, a jumpshooting 4 would be perfect next to Hakeem. Hakeem's defense would also cover up their possible defensive woes, so someone like Love would be perfect (even Channing Frye wouldn't be a terrible fit).
anyone who insults the foundation of clutch city is insulting the foundation of clutch fans and insulting the foundation of intelligent life on the planet.
