Yao is untradeable to me unless you have another center that is just as good or better than him. At one time, I would have seriously thought about dealing him for Amare Stoudemire but not anymore. I know that Amare has recovered somewhat from his injury but I think Yao has progressed further along in his career than Stoudemire has.

    Absolutely no one!

But since this is the reputable Lakers pride talking all it will take is Chris Mihm, Brain Cook and Aaron Mckie.

    Lakerspride = Mitch Kupchak

I posted on this thread to give it 1 star.

lebron hasnt peaked, you're right about that. but i'd still take a healthy tmac over lebron at this point, as i think tmac has a better offensive repetoire than lebron, and he can be a shutdown defender when he chooses to be.

it's close, depends on if a team is in a win-now mode, which the rockets are, so i'd go with mac.

eh. lebron isnt explosive nowadays. sure he put up points but tmac would demand more of a double team

When healthy, no one. Since he's injured I'd say Lebron James,Kobe Bryant and just maybe D.Wade.

Oh yea, I don't have a clue why anyone would put Bosh and Arenas in the same sentence as Yao. Bosh is an all star at best and Arenas have too many guards that are better then him, unless you're a huge scoring/point fan I guess.

    Trade Yao for:

    Pau Gasol
    Rudy Gay
    Stromile Swift
    Hakim Warwick
    1st Round Draft Pick
    Tahiti (Islands)

Tahiti would be the place that I go to after they fired me for a team that didn't get to playoffs and 1st round bust.

Yao's to great to trade right now.

I'm not saying it might not be close in terms of impact they can make right now, IF (that's a BIG "if") T-Mac is actually healthy. But considering that this is a thread about trades, who would you take: the older guy with a history of horrible injury problems who might be marginally better, or the guy half a decade younger who's never had serious injury problems?

    Not a toughie.

Yeah....if not for his skills, it would be for all the money he can help the franchise make from his popularity in China

Probably would not ever consider. We do love the BIG man... but,

Yao, Howard and Sura for Gasol, Miller and #1 pick???

    Oden, Mutombo
    Gasol, Hayes, Novak
    Battier,Miller (6th man)
    TMac, Head
    Rafer, JL3 <> VSpan

    Maybe so...
