Normally, I carry around a fully loaded, nifty, 40-disc case I got for Christmas (40 dollars?! It's nifty, but I'm glad I didn't pay for it). Here's all the stuff in it I remember listening to recently:

    Beck -- Midnite Vultures
    Crystal Method -- Vegas
Fatboy Slim -- You've Come A Long Way, Baby
Folk Implosion -- One Part Lullaby
    Gorillaz -- Gorillaz
    Luscious Jackson -- Natural Ingredients
Liz Phair -- Exile in Guyville
    Radiohead -- Amnesiac
    R.E.M. -- Up
    Sleater-Kinney -- Dig Me Out
Matthew Sweet -- Time Capsule: The Best Of...
Yo La Tengo -- And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out

Elvis, the concert in NYC was awesome. The crowd was loud, and the D played all their great songs. Jimmy Fallon (from SNL) opened for them, too.

As for the bootleg, search the internet for concerts. It's not hard to find bootleg audio and video of the D. I believe even the official Tenacious D website (run by Lee) has songs for download.

And if you can't find any songs... that's a cosmic shame.

I agree. It's awesome! I actually have a ton of live Phish and moe. shows on CDR.. I'm a very big phan!

Actually, get this- Mike Gordon (bass player for Phish) performed this past Saturday at this tiny neighborhood bar (in Seattle) I frequent. My buddy's girlfriend tends bar there and called him up to tell him that Mr. Gordon was there so we cruised over there. He was performing w/ a friend's wedding reception band. It was just awesome! Once in a lifetime experience for me!
