    1. Lin - easily most untradeable, 8.3mil/yr, lots of upside, many intangibles, a fan favorite
    2. Martin - plays near All-Star level, $12.9 mil expiring enhances his value
    3. Asik - a relatively mobile, defensive big, too early to tell if we overpaid, could turn out to be a steal with some offensive development.
    4. Lamb, Motiejunas, White, Jones, Parsons, Patterson - all very nice assets, will be exciting to watch them play together and see how the pecking order sorts out.

this might be one of the weakest Rockets team we have fielded in the team's history. Certainly up in the top 5...or worst 5 teams we have ever had.

Lottery here we come! Every player on this team is expendable.

Considering 5 players have yet to play a NBA game yet it to hard to say.

Doing a singular list isn't terribly valid because different players are worth different values to different teams. Also, our most valuable assets are probably draft picks and willingness to take on bad contracts. But, here's my best attempt:

1 Lamb -- Combo of good potential unspoilt by actual data to allow GMs to dream of greatness, low longterm salary.

2 Motiejunas -- Same as Lamb, plus he's a big man with pro experience, but he's a Euro and may be some concern about how is game translates.

3 Lin -- Nice run on Knicks still tempered by poor pedigree and sneaking suspicion that he was playing above his head; doesn't matter since Les will never trade him.

4 Martin -- great plug-and-play for a veteran team looking for the last piece to get over the hump; value only hurt by fact there aren't as many contenders shopping as there are lotto teams, and their ability to pay is lower.

5 Asik -- Some might think he's overpaid and has no offense. But, teams always want legit centers.

6 Patterson -- Bad sophomore season, but GMs will remember promise of rookie season and excuse last season due to injury.

    7 Royce White -- Still a mid-1st-rounder value.

    8 Terrence Jones -- Still a mid-1st-rounder value.

9 Parsons -- Good rookie season, but value still handicapped by draft position and pedigree; suspicion that he might have been NBA-ready, but his ceiling isn't very high. Also needs to prove his rookie season wasn't fluke of system by maintaining performance over another season.

10 Morris -- Getting outplayed by Parsons hurts value though some will expect he'll catch up. Fear he's a bust on a long contract keeps his value low until he gets minutes and produces.
