Ok, fair point. I'll try asking for that and reply back on this thread. I'm a 5 minute walk from the In N Out in Fisherman's Wharf.

I want some In-n-Out. What's the nearest one to Houston, Arizona? I'll probably make the drive one weekend.

this thread made me drive to the in n out thats a couple minutes away from my apartment. anyway i got a double double w/ grilled onions, fries and a neopolitan shake. It didn't disappoint. But then again, I didn't fly cross country or drive out of state to get it.

Can't compare with whataburger because well, i've never had it.

One thing that needs to be pointed out is that McDonald's fries are the best. my gf who is anti-Mickey Ds even agrees. Good thing that's across the street from in n out, LOL. i love living near campus.

I had In-N-Out last year when I went out to Cali. I still prefer Whataburger.

But Del Taco > Taco Bell. I'd rather have a Del Taco in Houston than an In-N-Out.

Just three more weeks and I'll chow down on this for my graduation trip to LA. Three more weeks and I can't freaking wait.

The most OVERRATED burger of all-time. That's right. It's not bad, but give me break. Perhaps because it's limited to the western states -- we all want what we can't have.

When out west, you need to go with Fatburger or Tommy's.

Had it today for the first time in SF. I went animal style for both the burger and fries; i also tried some reg. fries.

Incredibly overrated! Give me an A1 Thick and Hearty any day!

    i get in-n-out in 63 hours. :D

and how staunch people here are in their defense of their favorite fast food restaurants always amuse me. jesus christ in a cardigan, we're talking about $5 meals here people.

Tommy's tastes like the burger they have at a school cafeteria. Fatburger is more expensive...

Can't really beat In-N-Out's price either.

The only knock against it is the wait times. There isn't any part of the day where you don't wait 25-25 mins for a freaking burger.

next time i'll try the fries with all that stuff on there. i didnt know you could order them like that until i saw the other peeps eatin it like that. I hesitated to pick off of them cause the combination just didn't seem right LOL. Oh and i didn't have their shakes either. I guess its time to make a trip back to cali.

Since Five Guys is in Htown now, I've been there a few times.

Its pretty good, but not In-N-out status.

    Certainly better than Waterburger though.
