Any survey result that says KFC is the #1 fried chicken and Burger King can rank as high as #2 for fries is weak.
No, they're all about maintaining quality in food, service, and employee treatment...which will probably keep them from ever becoming widespread.
Kind of a vague poll based on consumer popularity, but it shows you how valued In-N-Out is given the small amount of locations.
I had it for the first time in LA about 3 weeks ago. It was good, but I still like Whataburger better. I guess that's the Texan in me.
I use zagat quite a bit, but they have over 3200 restaurants listed for L.A. and just over a thousand for Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio combined! To say that In-N-Out's home market is better represented than Whataburger's in their survey would be a bit of an understatement.
uh...this poll has Burger King as having the second best fries. Those things taste like freaking cardboard. In-N-Out is good, but I think it's overrated. I hated the fries but the burger was good and the toppings were great
I feel EXACTLY the same way. I would certainly go again, but I wouldn't go out of my way, and I'd get a double meat and blow off the fries.
I am here so say that I am totally wrong. I went to In-N-Out last week and it was ****ty. It is extremely overrated and has been getting worse over the past couple years. The fries are the absolute WORST. They are soggy, small, and tasteless. The Burgers are pretty small and greasy.
Surely everybody is getting their In-N-Out burgers animal style right? That is the key. Fries cooked "well done" and washed down with a neopolitan shake...
