my goodness people, how can so many losers argue every week over their own subjective opinion of a freaking fast food burger

in-n-out is a superior burger than whataburger, it is a FACT

    In-n-Out > All burger chains.

I used to love Whataburger, but the inconsistency is horrible. Ten years ago, it was pretty good, but now, 90% of the time the buns is soggy and the meat is cold. Yuck, gross, yuck !

When they do make it good and fresh, it's better than the other chains in Texas. I love Whataburger with extra onions + jalapeƱos.

    1. In-n-Out
    2. Whataburger - when the minimum wage employee care to make it good
    3. Everything else

great point chow yun fat, and I don't know how often this point gets discussed between all the huffing and puffing and jingoistic pride.

In-N-Out Burger takes care of their employees, and in turn, they actually appear to be happy and enjoy their jobs. they treat customers with respect, but they take care of their own as well, and it provides a nice atmosphere different than most fast food chains.

I don't even want to go into the experience I had the last time I was in Whataburger in Humble. the losers working behind the counter made the entire visit worth never returning there again.

I would also like to add that Carl's Jr makes a much more superior burger to Waterburger as well, and I'd almost have to put Culver's in there too... but I enjoy the frozen custard there more than anything else.

They don't have many Carls Jr in Texas, and unlike In-N-Out they are pretty much your average run of the mill grease-trap joint with less than great employees and the food does vary depending on location. But for my money, the Guacamole Bacon 6 Dollar Angus Burger is a pretty much the best fast food burger I've ever had.

The only places in Texas that I know you can find a Carl's Jr are in Love's truck stops up near Dallas, but I took Miguel and Shannon (right before her conversion) to one of them a few weeks ago while we were up there, and they both said it was about the best burger they'd ever had.

Carl's Jr. is my favorite chain burger place right now. Light-years beyond Whataburger. You pay more for a burger, but hey, can't see through the pattie, so that's a plus.

Speaking of which, what the hell is up with Wendy's? They pound their patties paper thin and they're still greezy as hell. I'd still take them over Whataburger, though.

my brother in-law and i were commenting on how there's always at least one hottie working at any given in-n-out (at least the several i've been to). that's a plus over any other chain.

Thats a common misconception actually. Although they are technically the same basic setup...

Hardees sucks major balls, very poor food, found mostly in the midwest and the north.

Carl's Jr (as they are called in the west) are much superior in quality.

    Trust me.

lol this goes to show how much you know

Carls Jr tried to get into the Texas market back in the 80s, and failed miserably

time to shrink back into your corner and accept burger defeat, brah

unfortunately I also had a bad experience with a Hardee's and swore off Carl's Jr. in the process. they are too much of the same to me.
I know I have also gone back and forth on this as well, but to me,

    Carl's=Hardee's= vomit

Obviously they failed because of poor souls like you seem to think that a burger that is soaked in grease and served with a nice soggy, 4 week old bun is what constitutes a "good burger"

Most Texans I have talked to that don't live in their own personal world where Bill Oreilly is the voice of the nation agree that Waterburger is overrated, and I have shown many of them the error of their ways.

Lets bridge the gap. I invite you to go up and try a Carl's Jr burger. I assure you it is better than your Failburger.

Just to reiterate... Hardees is NOT Carl's Jr. Carl's bought them up in the mid 90s. Hardees = fail. Carls from the West = good. Only in the past few months have the menus started to be integrated.

    From wikipedia...

    BOW TO THE FACTS.

i drove past an empty whataburger in tempe last weekend on my way to a crowded in-n-out. so my anecdotal evidence means that my subjective taste in fast food is better than yours. so sorry.

lol your weak response included the fact that Carls Jr has opened up shop in Malaysia? That's rich. A complete non sequitur.

Bottom line is that in a competitive market that included both Whataburger and Carls Jr, Carls Jr went t*** up in no time. West Coast got PWN3D by the Texas champion

Its ok, bigtexxx has had a history of backing the slowest horse on the track lately. ;)

texxx - please regroup. Its pretty sad that you have failed so miserably in the D&D that you are trying to spread around your crap-tactics here in MY hangout.

Get your ugly, ****in goldbrickin' ass out of my forum, or I'm not going to be so nice to you next time.

never had in-n-out, but i've had carls jr. a couple times and found it very greasy and very average... didnt care for it at all

i properly made bacon and cheese whataburger with grilled onions and grilled jalapenos is superior to every fast food burger i've ever had.

For burgers? I love Dairy Queen, but I think their burgers are average for fast food. The Dude and Steak Fingers are awesome, though.
