Actually, I hear In-n-Out cheeseburgers were rated #1 for kicking purposes as well.

First thing we ate when arriving to San Francisco was In N Out...and we were wholly unimpressed.

In N Out sucks. No mustard, no jalapenos.

I've voiced my opinion on this before (good, but overrated burger, terrible fries because they aren't cooked properly), so it just breaks my heart to hear Thomas Keller repping the fries and In-N-Out. I'd probably slash my wrists if I heard John Besh doing the same thing. Then again, Besh makes fries better than Keller anyway, so I needn't worry.

All that being said, I've had two great burgers in the past ten days or so at places I hadn't eaten them at before. Houstons has an AWESOME burger and great fries as well, and the Roadhouse in Bastrop has this jalepeno cream cheese burger that is pretty damn awesome as well.

Almost twice as much as In&Out too. A classic 1/2 lb burger with smashfries and soft drink is easily $10. I get mine with an egg (just like Fatburger) and that pushes it to $12. Damn good burger though.

    I would rank it 1. In&Out 2. Smashburger 3. Five guys

Whataburger I'll go if I want their chicken fingers.

But the A1 Thick and Hearty easily destroys all menu items from those establishments, so Whataburger should be ranked #1 right?

The only thing Waterburger destroys is the myth that Texans are open-minded about their burgers.

Or I can just put A1 thick and hearty sauce on those other 3 burgers...

Whataburger is fine, I would say it is above average for fast food, but nothing special. That being said, so is IN-N-Out. Its absolutely nothing special, just above average. Plus they have the absolute fries

The only reason In & Out is popular is because its mostly in California so it must be cool

If anybody hasn't had In & Out just go to Five Guys. Five Guys is pretty good

Whose going to grill those delicious little chopped onions??
