Not so fast. Phoenix has just as many, if not more problems than we have. We may make end up making the 8th seed in the playoffs by default.

Uprising, you voted for both the first and the last option.

    What exactly does that mean?

I hope thats just sad talking, I really doubt we will get that low of a record.

Like it or not EC is taking up at least 10 of the 15 lottery picks and I really doubt we will fall below 5 of our WC competition.

Morey needs to be fired if he doesnt pull off anything.

And your sig needs to happen.

I think we should make a small move (move Luther Head) and wait and see how this year pans out.

This is how I see our roster as it breaks down.

our current record is NOT the fault of:
    Carl Landry
    Aaron Brooks
    Luis Scola
    Von Wafer
    Yao Ming

And MAY be the fault of:
    Shane Battier
    Tracy McGrady
    Ron Artest
    Brent Barry

    Also expendable:
    Luther Head

    Debatable:
    Chuck Hayes
    Dikembe Mutombo

So if we trade anyone south of Yao Ming on this list, you wont find me crying. If we trade anyone above him on this list, I will be furious.

Let's ship Deke to a contender. The man deserves another shot at a ring.

I think the consensus doesn't give a crap about 2010. We aren't a big market team ala... new york. do whats best for now and when it comes time, then we shall see....

There are 7 teams in the lottery at the end of the season in each conference.

We're unlikely to get anything halfway desirable since our "wait for a more fair offer" strategy completely blew up in our face.

I think we would be best off just waiving him now. The team is better without him and we've already been paying him to stay home anyway.

I know hindsight is always better but damn we should have traded him to Detroit in the off season for Rip or Chauncey.

If you're really looking to get rid of someone on the bottom of the list, you may be forced to part with someone at the top of the list not named Yao.

Morey do whatever...I wonder how Ron performs without T-Mac in the locker room but no way we are resigning him so ship him out please.

Personally I hope we pull the trigger on the VC deal.

I look to move a package of rafer and landry for a better PG with a backup big tossed in the deal. hinrich is one possibility. felton and ford are others as point guards. miller would be great but a pipe dream.

or try to get a better, more versatile SF/PF player like outlaw or kleiza. I wouldn't do artest for carter. battier for mike miller makes a lot of sense too. i'd call GS on their demands for jackson or crawford but doubt the team has enough to land them.

    My option is not there!

My plan would be to send Mcgrady home for the rest of the year, let him have surgery if needed and/or rehab, just don't let him anywhere around the team. Finish the year with the team we have or maybe a small tweak here or there. This team can hold their own just fine and hopefully still get out of the first round without Mcgrady. I believe this team will play their best basketball without Tracy being a distracting. In the meanwhile, keep your eyes and ears open to any takers. Whatever they do don't start another season with Tracy in red & white. This drama is too much, I'd pitch in on Tracy's plane ticket out of town. The team won't get another dime from me as long as Tracy is polluting the Toyota Center.

For the first time in years we

    1. Have a nice looking future of young players

    2. Have control of our own salary situation. No insane crappy contracts

Our future looks, good why mess it up.

Unless something falls in his lap Morey should stand pat (other than liberating Luther). We need Artest now and honestly this year Battier couldn't even get us a shooter.

And today, more than yesterday, I really don't want to give up Scola, Landry or Brooks period.
