I refuse to believe that a dude who had that great and successful of a year would just quit.

when that reason for disappointment stems from someone basically giving up, there has to be a reason behind it. At least I would hope there is. I mean this guy is supposed to be the face of a franchise and "leader"

meaningless? the rockets are no gs or spurs record wise. they very much were trying to get the highest seed possible and the west race was still close going to the end of the season

 

He did not quit in game 5 so why would there be a carry over to game 6 in terms of in fighting?.

 

Not all is lost though, the Rockets can build on the positives and learn from their mistakes.

 

He had 5 days of rest between the end of the OKC series and the start of the Spurs series. And both games 1 and 2 against the Spurs were blowouts so he only played 31 minutes and 33 minutes. If he truly was "burned out", then we need to trade him immediately. It makes no sense to build a team around a guy who will get "burned out" before the playoffs are even halfway over.
