If you quit, it will eventually result in in-fighting. I'm sure all of the guys were looking up to Harden for leadership which didn't come.
when that reason for disappointment stems from someone basically giving up, there has to be a reason behind it. At least I would hope there is. I mean this guy is supposed to be the face of a franchise and "leader" meaningless? the rockets are no gs or spurs record wise. they very much were trying to get the highest seed possible and the west race was still close going to the end of the season
He had 5 days of rest between the end of the OKC series and the start of the Spurs series. And both games 1 and 2 against the Spurs were blowouts so he only played 31 minutes and 33 minutes. If he truly was "burned out", then we need to trade him immediately. It makes no sense to build a team around a guy who will get "burned out" before the playoffs are even halfway over.
TMac is hall-of-fame certified now. The shoe is on the other foot now as far as salty Clutchfans are concerned.
I think the team lost heart after Game 5. Lack of self-belief lead to the collapse in Game 6, in my opinion.
so now the popovich post game presser from last night comes into play. Theory number 500 confirmed. if the houston rockets lacked self belief in a game, they announced the opposing best player would be out and being short handed already, then they have no business being in the playoffs
I mentioned this earlier the game 5 loss was a really draining and shocking loss. I think it drained them and destroyed any self beliefe they had.
People keep wondering, what happened in Game 6. IT'S OBVIOUS.....MDA WORE THEM DOWN!! IT STARTED AT THE END OF GAME 5 AND PROCEEDED THROUGH GAME 6. After reflecting on the game, it wasn't just James who played bad but the whole team. Any idiot know you can't run a 7-man rotation AND play Small Ball for long stretches
divine fallacy . . . a.k.a. argument from personal incredulity. Just because you don't believe it, doesn't mean it is wrong https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divine_fallacy
okay maybe assume was not a good choice of words...I should have used the word IF. IF it is true then Harden is a big Pu$$ and Les needs to hold his little hands and have a talk with him like he's in 3rd grade.
Honestly, the GARM feels worse now than last year at the start of the offseason and last year was a dumpster fire. Staggering.
