I never said Lin was going to be close to Parker or Nash, I was pointing out it took a couple season for them to become where they are. You say Parker was averaging 20 a game by the time he was Lins age. Thats funny, because by the time Parker was Lin's age he had more seasons in the NBA under his belt than Lin did and he was the focal point of the team. As for the argument about Jones and Parsons being the showcase on how Mchale develops players...please. He had nothing to do with their development besides giving more playing time. Period. And for your statement on Asik, I agree with you. Thats why I said the same thing in my previous post concerning Asik. And now for your second genius comment about me having an agenda. I am a Lin-fan, but a Rockets fan first. I have always been about trading Lin for something better, but not for worse. His potential is there, but in recent performances Beverly definitely shows that he is the starter. Lin had a hot start, whether he was starting or not and was still playing 30+ minutes. Significant minutes. My agenda is finding the best players to start for the Rockets, and though I supported Lin to be the starter he has proven he does not have the mental fortitude to do it. Period. But it makes it easier for you to argue with someone who supports Lin and I am realistic about his shortcomings, to just throw the term "LOF", like so many veterans and trolls on this forum. You hate anyone who supports Lin, and I get it, I really do. There were some stupid Lin supporters that see him as the next MJ. I don't, but it makes it easier for to try and win an argument. Pathetic, really. A veteran from 2008 throwing out LOF in an argument when I'm willing to simply discuss points. I am all for Beverly starting, because he showed he deserved it, and Lin regressed.
