Not quite...the Texans are aging at some key spots, and will have to address depth at many others. The Texans could easily go back to be cellar dwellers next year. Just look at the production we got from this year's draft...Depth and age will be key. Also what to do with Arian Foster and Andre Johnson...
Every team ages. If you think the Texans' aging and depth issues will make them the cellar dwellers next year, then you haven't looked at the Titans and Jaguar's roster.

Heh, I don't know what I thought that said, but I must have read that wrong. Either way, they could use a RB
there is also just as much chance, including the texans, that all the teams in the wild card hunt finish 9-7. they all have really difficult schedules and many face each other
That would work out too because the Texans would get that tiebreaker according to the playoff machine at ESPN
Is this true? I was under the impression that the Texans would have to win out, and get quite a bit of help. I haven't really studied it though, so I'd be happy to be wrong on that.
According to the ESPN playoff simulator if the Texans win out, they are almost certainly in and if the 2nd WC spot can be had for 9 wins, and the Texans get 9 wins along with a lot of other teams, the Texans get the tiebreaker for some reason. Basically we need to at least win 9 to have a chance and 10 is almost a lock.
Baltimore, Pittsburgh, San Diego ahead of us for the wild card magic number for Indy to win the division is 1, so there is almost no hope of that
