this weekend is a playoff game. beat the bengals and you could see the texans running with a 4 win streak with a 8-5 record leading up to the indy rematch. anybody here would have taken that scenario after last years disaster. hey we are due to win in indy at some point right? why not this year. :p

That's good, since we own Dalton and the Bengals at home in the playoffs.

The odds of Texan making the playoff is pretty close to the Rockets winning the NBA championship this year.

Games are much more fun if you see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Sorry you retract from the light :)

Sooner or later you will realize that light is just a train running towards you in full speed.

It gives us something else to talk about other than clowney is a horrible bust that is the worst thing to happen to the nfl in the history of time and Mallet is the opposite.

Looking at the schedule, I can definitely see us and KC getting in.

Not worried at all with CLE, MIA, SD, or CAN. Their schedules are pretty bad.

Imo, Pitts has a easier schedule than Baltimore. I see them winning their division

Baltimore scares me... but if we win against them at home, then hope they lose another, then we can secure a playoffs spot

if the texans win against cincy, texans have a nice shot at it.
and losing bradshaw is a huge blow to the colts, especially in the passing game, since he was a nice security blanket for luck, when the pressure was on, and it was a nice weapon in passing, in the goal line situations.

Since we lost to Pittsburgh already, I think we need them to go on a run and win their division since we'll lose the H2H tiebreaker over them. If we handle our business, that means we'll beat the Bengals and Ravens and will own the tiebreaker over the rest of the AFC North assuming the teams end up tied at the end of the year. The Dolphins beating the Bills last week on TNF wasn't the best scenario for us, but hopefully the Dolphins start losing some games here soon too.

    Go Texans!!

So being a realist means you have to always post your own pessimistic views everywhere?

We all live in the real world (for the most part). Sports is about hope and faith (not necessarily blind faith though)... I don't "think" they will make it either but I at least acknowledge that the team put themselves in a position where they have a fighting chance. At least the season isn't already over for the Texans when they are playing for nothing like they were this time last year. And even if they don't make it and if Mallet works out _ at least we have hope for next year...

I mean you have to feel better about the team than you did last year _ don't you...?

You must be just a BARREL OF LAUGHS to watch a game with.

We were riding an 8-game losing streak at this time last year. Lighten up.

Everyone in here is a little sensitive.

Lets win this Sunday and set ourselves up to beat Indianapolis at 8-5!

Lets get back to being men and talk about FOOTBALL!

I think Mallet keeps our defense off the field long enough to play with high energy for 60 minutes.

Joseph also plays Green decently well.

You know what, Debbie? You are totally ruining my trip to Disneyworld. I didn't say a word during It's A Small World, when you talked about low birth weight. Or, during the fireworks when you went on and on about feline AIDS...
