Lowry + Martin + 12th pick (Lamb) + a likely future late 1st round pick by Dallas (or potentially unprotected 3-4 years down the line) + Bobcats 2nd early rounder + 2Pat became ...

James Harden + Thomas Robinson (+ large expiring + filler)!!!

(Traded for and way Aldrich & TD played for free, so they won't count)

Realistically, that deal shouldn't even get us Mayo + TRob.

We could even think about what we got Martin for and what we got Lowry for in 2009.

I think like that as well. That's why it is funny when Morey makes moves that "only makes us marginally better" and everyone is panicing... they don't see that eventually those small moves turns into big differences in our roster 2-3 years down the road. Fortunately, Morey is now at a stage this off season where these small moves turn into a more final product than just a move to make another move.

Not saying this off season we will have the final roster (as that NEVER happens). But, these small pieces will land us at least one other All-Star this off season and perhaps two.

And the more you break it down, the better it looks.

We got Lowry for Alston (not quite sure how we got him). And we got Martin for Landry (31st overall).

So, we traded Alston, the 31st pick, the 12th pick, a late first rounder, an early 2nd rounder, another 2nd rounder (to the Suns), and two 14th overall picks (Morris and 2Pat) for two guys drafted in the top 5.

    Not bad, Morey. Not bad.
