Aggie here. Ready to eat crow. I thought House was trash. Didn't think he had NBA range. But he's fitting in perfectly. Kudos to D'antoni, Morey and Harden for getting the best out of him and seeing what I didn't.

Really? I thought GSW did a wonderful job denying the Harden/Capela PNR. In fact, does anyone know how to use nba.com to see how many alley-oops the 2 had last night? I could have sworn several years back I read somewhere that now you can see video replay of every statistic, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on nba.com.

If you can make an open shot, you can thrive in the Rocket offense with Harden. All these fringe NBA players are having amazing years because they can make a shot. AUSTIN RIVERS is a super sub because he can dribble.

I didn't think he was trash, but of a 10th man type. I'm so glad I was wrong.

Doesn't it seem like hes taken a step back defensively? Last year you could switch him to a guard and be confident he could stay in front but this year he's getting beat time and again. Otherwise he should be an All Star in my opinion.

nope. some people are making this dramatic. especially after seeing a random play here and there. looks like people want to take the kat series and think that that's what you'll see every single night. no that's not happening. if your expectations are unrealistic, you're gonna get a terrible reaction

Even though they made shots over him, PJ Tucker out there making those Warriors work for every shot. Underrated.

Well, I'm not seeing some random play here or there. I've watched every game and I have post comment of how unbelievable Clint is at switching last year, I just dont see it this year.

which isn't the case at all. your expectations are just unrealistic no matter how much you want to say you've "watched every game"

you won't find another center that can move their feet every single time and just shut down plays every single time like how some of these posters want to act like should happen. AD is probably the closest you'll get to that and even then he can stop the best players in the league

Well, I guess it would be unrealistic if I never seen him shut down guard after guard last year but I did see it. I just wish he could do more of the same this year. It might be that he's just doing alot more this year though.

yeah, he seems slower, and his timing on blocks is a little off...guys don’t fear him at the rim...it’s hard for bigs to defend out on the perimeter, but I find myself saying “that should be a block” quite a bit for Capela when guys challenge him at the rim

offensively he’s the perfect fit next to Harden...sometimes he’s a little soft at the rim, but he’s probably the best PnR big in the league

in key moments can he step up and make a play. he absolutely did when he blocked kd's shot at the rim. again have unrealistic expectations, then sure there will be complaining. for all the whining about capela, I could name all the faults of every single other player on the roster defensively. but theres no point in doing so

what's lofty is believing he can guard every single play when no one in the world can do that

Might of turned the corner and now a Austin Rivers fan. One thing for sure is he doesn't back down from a challenge and isn't scared.

    Rivers/House/Green.

Never once did I say he should be able to shut down every guard and every play cause he didn't do that last year, he just did it more consistently last year than this year.. ok?.. understand? It's not that hard.. not trying to be negative, just stating what I've notice.. its oook, Clint is a VEEERY good player we can agree to that.

So many little plays mattered. I watched the game again and realized how big Brandon Knight played when Harden was out. Every little effort culminated in this win.

What a day to be alive! What a game to witness!

Clint was ridiculously good last night. PJ with that octopus defense was perfectly timed.

One of my favorite plays was when Rivers got blocked by Draymond Green then he starts laughing. Seconds later Harden hits a three and I was like.. damn.. Rivers has a ton of confidence in Harden.

Speaking of, the denial of Harden’s greatness is crumbling around the media outlets now. You just can’t ignore a 40 point triple double against the defending champs where he hits a game tying three AND a game winner.

So proud to be a Houston fan right now!
