In a way I'm glad Francis didn't play for the dream team.

Steve would of made a big difference on that team, and U.S would of won the gold; which is what suppose to happen in the first place. But this is just my opinion , because no one will ever know what could of happen, its' to late. Oh yeah the remark that was made about the 92 team was the only real Dream team, I must disagree. The 96 team was a great Dream team. They had David Robinson in his prime (unstoppable), The Dream in his prime (unbelievable and unstoppable), and Shaq (leaner, healthier, and unstoppable). When I say unstoppable, I mean the 92 team couldn't even stop these players especially all of them on the court at the same time ( David S.F., Dream P.F., and Shaq C. ).But we'll never know what would of happen if they played against each other, especially since some of the players on the 92 and 96 teams played on both teams.

If Steve were on the US team, they STILL would have lost, because this was by far the WEAKEST frontcourt we've EVER sent to international competition. We didn't have a true center, and our frontcourt didn't know what to do with the double teams they were seeing...

In fact, I'm sure a few people probably would have blamed Steve for the United States' failure in Indy...
