Lowry. Because he would play better defense.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with option C here. Rafer Alston would school both of them.

Anyone that plays ball knows that the more physical and better defender usually wins in one on one. Ofcourse, there are always exceptions to the rule but I would put down money on Lowry in this one.

What, no way. Neither player can really bully the other. It's not that much of a difference. Speed when people are the same height and a quick first step is as important

In a 1 on 1 pick up game, do the team captains pick themselves on their team?

I actually think Kyle is a worse finisher than AB. A lot of people assume Kyle is the better finisher because of all his and1s, but the majority of those are jack-it-up, out of control shots after the foul is called. If he makes it, it's an amazing finish. If he doesn't, it's a just good, aggressive drive, and we're not thinking about his finishing ability. This is great during an NBA game, but when those fouls aren't called (aka in street ball), those aggressive drives turn into reckless drives, and all of a sudden he's a terrible finisher.

I'd say AB is a very good finisher in his own rite, and his inability to draw a fouls actually translates well to the streets.

Kyle and Aaron are both good names

Tough decision... I'm leaning towards Kyle

If there is a ref and free-throw, Kyle Lowry will win it from the line

Aaron wins by a mile. Lowry can set up the invisible man in the corner really well tho.

Make it Take it? Brooks wins, He can pull Lowry out the the 3 point line, and once he gets that going then he can start to open up. Guarding Lowry wont be easy, there is no one else there to swipe the ball away. So Lowry would have a lot of room to back down/ out maneuver Brooks but I think he could hold his own.

If Lowry gets a defensive rebound he'll still have to take it back and work his way back inside. Lowry would probably miss on purpose so he could get the rebound since he knows where its going.

Dont forget there are no refs so flopping wont work......
and with no refs w/ Lowry's style, I see a fight breaking out, then Lowry wins.

Brooks, easily. Lowry might get to the rim every time, but he's bound to blow at least a couple of lay-ups.

Lowry would destroy Brooks in any kind of 1-on-1 football, though.

It would be a very close game but Aaron Brooks is going to win just because he can shoot 3s better than Lowry and we all know that 3 points is more than 2.

But loses due to traveling and double dribbling.

Gonna have to take Brooks on this one. Lowry can't defend Brooks on the perimeter, so brooks would either shoot or drive by him. Brooks can't defend Lowry, but Brooks is the better shooter.

    Brooks> Lowry

First I am no high level player.

But I play basketball all the time. My game is more like lowrys as I get all my points off of driving and I concentrate really hard on D. I am a really good one on one defender.

I will be on a team and make a team better than say a pure offensive player...but every time I play that guy one on one I loose...mainly because hes getting to just pop up shots and make them and I am having to work hard to try and get to the basket.

It may be close for a bit, but by the end 9 times out of 10 the better shooter wins...even if his d is suspect....

It actually just happened to me last night lol

One on one is usually make it take it, diminishing defensive requirements if you are a great offensive player. Brooks is a better scorer, so one on one I would favor him despite his defensive liabilities. Not that it would be a blow out or that Lowry would never win a game if they played a bunch.

Well I suppose Lowry could take AB down in the post everytime and there isn't a damn thing AB could do about it if both are actually 6'0" and Lowry has 40 pounds on him. But then again, it takes Lowry a little longer to get moving to full speed leaving AB enough time to get the open. If Aaron is hitting the 3, Aaron wins.
