Last time some to get blasted by teammates for no effort was traded to NY. The rest of the team is full of hardworkers.
Toronto fans have long recognized. Nothing wrong with it. The thought might have occurred to CB's mother, too, some time ago. <object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mqF689ffyek&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mqF689ffyek&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object>

Sorry, I was just joking! I am in no way an insider. You have to go to StevieRebel or Doc Rocket on that one.
Yao is "soft". And by "soft" I mean, doesn't have the killer instinct "I'm going to win this game no matter what" attitude that you see in guys like Kobe, Lebron, etc. That was a criticism of the Tmac/Yao team back when they were the main part of the offense, neither of them were leaders on the court. Sure, they put up points and you could count on them in the clutch to some extent, but they were still "soft". Now, having said all that. Is this a bad thing... not really. If your whole team is filled with these players, it is. If you are counting on Bosh to be "the guy", then it is. And if we sign Bosh, we aren't going to count on him to be "the guy", because Adelman's doesn't really play towards the 1-star 4-role player type of strategy. He gives everyone the green light and whoever has a shot has a shot.
This is what I've said a few times. Bosh nor yao are alpha dogs. Out of you're best players, you have to have one and for most teams its the highest paid guy. Scola is more alpha than yao or bosh but he's not as skilled or doesn't have the ability to get a shot anytime, anywhere. Its good having a bunch of good players, but someone has to be the guys who will make it happen under any circumstances. Neither yao or bosh fit in that category.
Kobe, Pierce and Duncan have been the alpha dogs for the last few years. We can't get either of them.
Bosh doesn't guarantee a championship with the lost of Hill, Battier, Jeffries, and 2 1st round picks. We lose the opportunity to devleop a 7ft with the lost of those draft picks. What does our team look like. C: Yao/Chuck (We need a athletic/shot blocking/7ft) PF: Bosh/Scola * (Scola is waiting to see what we are going to with Bosh, because he's not going to stay if we sign Bosh and sit on the bench) SF: Ariza/Taylor SG: Martin/Budinger PG: Brooks/Lowry We don't need Bosh and I don't want to give up our future just to obtain Bosh (Especially if that means giving up Scola, Lowry or HIll). I believe a combination of 2nd yr Hill and Scola is better than one Bosh. I'm watching the Rockets vs. Celtics on comcast demand. An awesome game with a starting lineup of Chuck, Scola, Taylor, Budinger, and AB. Stop for a minute and think * No Yao, Martin, Battier, and Jeffries or 2 upcoming 1st round picks * We have the potential to land a bigman Rookie to develop behind Yao ... The Baylor, Marshall, or FSU centers. All 7 ft ... athletic shot blocker.
Get off this alpha dog nonesense. None of the current top 5 players in the league have been able to get a ring by themselves. Its a team game and it always has been. Jordan couldnt do it by himself, and neither could Hakeem. You assemble the best collection of talent that fits together and you go from there.
I am not sure about this, seems a little bit bush league, but I guess that is how today's deal works, where all access to players is in the norm. DD
