I do think there is more of a chance of this if people realize, as it goes on, the Senators remain quiet.

Their silence is loud right now, they are not rallying around the president, their silence tells me they don't really care to. If they were going to stand strong behind the president they would have already, you see his loyalists have already drawn their line in the sand, it looks like there's a bunch of senators that are in wait and see mode, especially as the polls continue to support impeachment, it puts the GOP on defense.

 

I fear they're just watching polling data, waiting for POTUS to calm down a tad, and waiting until they can gather to discuss their own strategy.

But it's true, there's nothing like full-throated support from them at this point. Not even close.

 

What's driving all this insanity? Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, has been more honest about it than most. Green admitted it straight up: "I'm concerned that if we don't impeach this president, he will get reelected."

Rep. Al Green (D-TX) said it. But he is certainly nowhere near the only Democrat in Congress thinking it right now.

 

He said it but you are taking it out of context, which matters greatly.

You're putting it out there like it is an electoral strategy or motivation, when the video shows it clearly isn't.

 

Keep telling yourself that.

 

I mean, he's been ******** all over the emoluments clause from Day 1. But yeah, laws n such.

 

It only took me 15 seconds of googling to find the actual source quote. I know that's embarrassing for you, but let it be a lesson learned moving forward.

Also, it does not matter who quoted Al Green. What matters is Al Green's quote. But you guys, when you do not like the message, attack the messenger. Ridiculous.

 

My guess is that the person quoting Tucker from one of the two or three people on my ignore list. I guess I'm not missing much.
