I’ll choose Udoka over any of our players.

Yean that was nice, and he did have a solid few minutes towards the end of the game, but he was pretty bad for the rest of it. Padding your stats during a fake comeback doesn't impress me when the way you played the rest of the game is a large part of why the team was down to begin with.

It wasn't just on him obviously, DIllon Brooks decided to be the Memphis Dillon Brooks and the team was missing 4 of their 5 best players to injury.

It’s called accountability. Guys like sengun and FVV all have brought up how tough coaching and his style is something they love. If he loses this supposedly locker room then that means the locker room is mostly full of losers bc all they can do is win 20 games. Soft players and ego driven players are the ones who get butt hurt. Those are the type of players that don’t belong. It’s the organic way to weed out the ones who don’t fit. They can go kick rocks

I call overreaction or worrying too much about it.....if players were really butt hurt then this would have reached us already.

I think everyone is stressed about the situation, injuries, losing etc.......this can also initiate some clashes.......

That is why the All Star Break is so important to calm everything down and ramp up for the final stretch.

I'd rather sort out the softies in the offseason or when for instance JGreen hits restricted free agency, and then trade him.

...is it really that hard to figure out the whole press conference audio situation? They mic up one guy who admittedly does all the talking answering the question of ten other muffled voices. Is there really no person they could get to be a walking/moving mic stand for free just so we can hear the freaking questions? It just seems like there is a way to "keep it moving" but also keep it understandable if you are going to go through the effort of recording and distributing this professionally.

It’s more if you are rating the performance or trying to extrapolate signs for long term growth. He gave us a shot to win tonight with a short handed squad. Credit for that. Best game he’s probably had has a playmaker for others. But as a scorer he was pretty bad for most of the game before a stretch of ~7 minutes down big in the 4th and 3pt shot was still broke all night.

How many Alpi moves do you spam on here after a rocket loss?

It's amazing how even the most modicum of support from Green is made fun of.

This notion that top NBA players evenly distribute their scoring throughout a game is absurd. This is the case for almost every top scorer. They have a bad quarter, get hot the next quarter etc.

Green overall had a decent game. It wasn't amazing but at the same time r doesn't warrant the massive amounts of **** talking from people like you.

If you notice most of the threes he takes it's because he sees the defense play under the screen or give him enough space for a clean shot. His goal is to make defenses press up on him. Obviously he needs to hit those shots but there is a goal with his three point shots and that goal is making sure defenders play over the screen, press up on him where he can take advantage of his speed otherwise they just play drop coverage on him making it hard on him to get to the point for a clean finish.

I agree his game overall was decent and that all players scoring can ebb and flow through a game. Jalen’s whole issue is consistency so when he’s bad scoring for most of a game other than a stretch for half a quarter where we’re down big and the opponent may have let up a little it doesn’t really answer those questions. The games against the Lakers and Pelicans were much better data points if you are trying to buy into a Jalen Green future with this team than last night.

Jalen Green doesn't have a future if you expect last night to be a bad night for him. Like that's absurd expectations. Like Lula level expectations.

This team’s shooting hasn’t improved from the beginning of the season. In fact, it has regressed.

I am happy that Jalen is developing an all around game. No matter what the haters say about his efficiency or lack thereof, it's a huge development for him to be getting double digits boards or racking up 10 assists.

No matter what anyone says, that is improvement.

It’s definitely an improvement. And the more games he has where he’s rebounding and sharing the ball, the better Jalen’s gonna be. I hope the fuller box scores become a consistent thing we see for the rest of the season. It certainly mitigates some of the shooting weakness. But let’s face it, people are down on Jalen because of where his shooting is in yr 3…which is what this team actually needs most.

Well his skill was supposed to be making baskets, turns out, he was pretty avg at that, and was a lot further away from being a finished product than people thought.

I don't believe the Org believes in him anymore and will trade him this summer.

for me it’s all about bolstering his value over the 2nd half of the season so we can maximize a trade return this offseason.

setting aside that I don’t think Jalen will become a star, I just don’t believe this org has the capacity to develop 6 super young players (not counting the 24’ draft) and Jalen is the closest to coming off his rookie scale contract and who has shown the least growth. I see Amen and Cam as better prospects, and we still have to play guys like Fred if we want to win. I don’t see a pathway for Jalen on this team if he’s not going to be a good shooter .

If a game where he had a 51.8% TS% is considered a good game from him, he doesn't belong in the NBA at all..... and that's with stat padding at the end during the fake comeback.

It hurts the team and you would think that at this point he would go ok let me stop launching contested 3's like im steph curry but no he just keeps doing it.
