I am so excited to see how much improvement we will see next year ! I def see us getting cam Johnson next year, wouldn’t be surprised with grant Williams too . We are def winning over 30 games this year . A good coach makes a difference . Even if we don’t make the playoffs I wanna see improvement that makes me feel even more confident in our future! Not sure how much of KPj being there was Stone/Udoka or on his own accord but such a good move to start to show the players what a winning culture is like. We're painting with finer brushes now and details like that matter. We're going to start to see which players want to be great and which ones want to be on IG Live. So funny both Tilly and Udoka made mention of him being there. Looks like Udoka wants a defensive rim runner (Lively) if we don't get Wemby. If we do get Wemby they'll probably package that pick for another shooter. Udoka said over and over that were not bad shooters....just bad shot takers. I'm sure he was shaking his head watching Jabari rush 3s because he'd never get the ball where and when he was supposed to. Sounds like Tate and KJs time here is done. Ime doesn't sound like he wants tweeners that can't shoot.
Lively has some helium, so I'm starting to doubt there's much chance he'll be there at the Clippers pick, but he's also too offensively limited to be worth considering at #6 (let alone top 3). I suppose we could trade back but I'm doubtful on the value proposition. I like the idea of addressing the need in free agency, personally. There are a lot of free agent centers available this offseason, like maybe as many as 7 or 8 guys we could consider who fit the archetype Udoka was probably referring to.
