He didn’t pressure or hedge those screens for Wiggins or Kuminga until late in the game. Adams was effective defensively in the paint and that lineup brought Rockets back but he decided to put in starters again. The Rockets can’t defend Warriors screens period. Several times Rockets went under instead of over. They kept dropping their Centers deep as well. This has been their issue all year as I saw this in the Dallas game. Rockets just can’t stop the high screen and roll. It’s baffling. In the tough games the Rockets were effective in their hedges or shows they won. They blitzed Edwards and SGA etc. They were passive against the Warriors and teams that they lost to.

Yes they got bailed out by the twins several times and should have lost more games including the sixers and MIN games. The offense doesn’t work and it shows as they don’t have a balance in scoring between Sengun and Green. They force it down to Sengun and put pressure on him to score while running a 2 man game with FVV. Either Brooks or Jabari need to be a good dribble drive guy and unfortunately neither of them are and that takes away their ability to pressure defenses while making it easier for teams to defend. I don’t know what the solution is other than let Sengun and Green run the 2 man show and less FVV. Spread out the offense and let them work.

Did you want to “hang” Morey or Carrol Dawson? Or did those guys did everything you wanted and you were pleased with all of their decisions.

I think they have an identity issue on offense. There’s no harmony on offense. It’s either Sengun or FVV or Green dominating touches or possessions. What do they want to be? What does their optimal offense look like? They don’t do a lot of off ball screens. They don’t have movement on offense and they don’t share the ball. They need to implement all 3. They certainly don’t play like a team on offense.

It’s a 2 man FVV Sengun game or Green taking over. On some nights it’s Brooks getting hot. Their go to is run everything into Sengun high and mid post or screen and roll. They just added a Sengun elbow post last couple games or so. When these actions happen the other players are stagnant with no movement.

It’s a very predictable offense that puts a lot of pressure on Sengun and FVV to get this team going. It’s baffling to me. They seem to be at their best when guys like Tari can attack the paint on the drive or cut and with good ball sharing and Sengun getting his shots. They’re at their worst force feeding to Sengun and letting Fred run amok while everyone is stagnant.
