Dude check my post history before you spew nonsense. You're probably a family member of Sengun posing as a poster here. You're a clown dude

They are a bunch of 22 yr olds if they are already able to execute consistently Rockets would be contenders with a bunch of franchise players.

Let them grow up and enjoy the massive progress the team has gone on in just the last year. Last year we were going on 3 game lose streaks now we have 5 game ws and only lose games by 1-5 pts.

Makes the max, perpetually injured, old, bad defender.

Id take Jalen warts and all over Lavine.

Sengun with fresh legs on 2 days rest? 25 minutes.

Sengun on a second night of a b2b vs one of the most physical frontcourts in the league? 38 minutes.

Zach Lavine is 29 years old, most of his game is based on Athleticism. For a Injured 29 year old and so much broken leg, knee, feet. I really believe he is close to retirement.

It is getting ridiculous on this board. If you can't handle losses trade your Top Players for older broken players only when they don't suit up and now you want to release them.

It is a blessing our young Players are playing every game possible compared to other teams Stars who are injured, or spoiled.

ummm - dont you want to save Sengun for the more physical game? That just sounds like good load management from Udoka there. Are you complaining because you perceive that as a slight to Sengun?

Basketball is a team game. Lavine would be ~6th best Rocket. Not being one of the best players in the game (i.e., guys that can get a team to the playoffs by themselves) should not be the criteria for whether a guy can be the ~6th best player on your team. If the Bulls were willing to send over a FRP to cover that he's overpaid and the Rockets could financially handle LaVine's player option*, I wouldn't have an issue with him not being able to lead a team to the playoffs.

*I've not looked at the contract situation too closely since Green and Sengun signed their extensions as for the most part Rockets have a lot of flexibility that can do most things without worrying about cap/apron implications. LaVine would not fit that bill.

…both of those are just signs of a young team. Young players aren’t consistent shooters and will miss on execution when it counts most. You gotta live with those things having a team over 22 and under guys but it should improve over time.

We need a shooter on this team. I’d shop Jabari.

Rockets shooting woes are only mitigated by their offensive rebounding prowess.

Did you see Sengun on the sidelines? Dude was exhausted. And no it isn't a slight to Sengun....there's been other games where he's played 26-30 minutes and the games are tighter than they should be in the 4th. He has to try and fend off teams that should've been put in the bin early in the 4th. My issue has been other games where he only plays 28 minutes and the game is close at the end. We're 10-5 in a season where most predicted we'd win 43-45 games so I'm not too bothered by it. It's nitpicking but the rotations have been....weird this year.

We missed a lot of bunnies yesterday and probably would've won by double digits if the games had been reversed and Milwaukee would've been the first game.

I agree the rotation have been up and down but I think Udoka is experimenting and the reasoning makes sense at times. I would prefer that over him stubbornly sticking to the same old rotations like other coaches. I thought the move to give Holiday more minutes last night instead of Reed was a smart one against a bigger more veteran team on a game we wanted to win - in fact, in hindsight we probably should have sat Reed this entire game since he was a -7 in just under 5 minutes while Holiday was a +11 in 9 minutes. I think Reed is starting to be a defensive liability when he is in the game...which makes the "Reed is a good defender" convo over in his thread all the more "wtf?!?!".

I know it's a frustrating loss but I thought it was a good learning loss for the team because you are right - we beat ourselves a bit and so they are things we can correct for the next big game. The lineup rotations could have been better, the shot making could always be improved, the execution in particular was sloppy at the end of the game....the missed entry pass, some defensive struggles at the end, missing wide open shots....again and again, etc. At least they are all things we can control because on player talent and coaching we SHOULD have won that game.

Ime spit the bit by not having Amen throw the inbounds pass.....FVV is too short.

Jalen waved at Dame as he got to the whole instead of stepping in and closing it out like his job says he should.

Sengun passed out for a 3 when he had a layup late.....and then held his hands up as his shot was blocked instead of hustling after it to get the rebound.

STILL all of that and we nearly beat a contender on the road, we are fine.

We create a team where our two best players share a position?

Udoka drew up a great inbound play. I think that Vanvleet inbounding was a mistake. The snallest guy trynna make that pass with Prince in his face was always gonna be a difficult thing to do. VV is pretty capable, obviously, but had the pass been a bit more precise, it would have been a W. Same with Sengun having better hands, but i still feel like the pass was a bit at fault.
