I’m really just saying that the playoffs are different and there’s not really a way to prepare other than going through it. Tightening the rotation now is not a bad thing. If there are injuries, or a team is completely shutting a player down, Uncle Jeff will know his role and his job… as will Tate, Jock and Holiday. They don’t need to be getting reps right now. They are the ones whose health needs protecting.
yeah Rockets couldn’t rebound or defend Gordon. Jabari has played well against him past few games. Not sure why he didn’t play more. Hate this undersized lineup
I’m sure this is all strategy to hide who will start and who will play all together. But I don’t like it when guys are playing out of position. That will not work in our favor against the good teams.
We'll have to disagree there. As most top 4 seeds do, you protect your most valuable players. Ime thinks the injuries were rest basically lol It's not just about tightening the rotation right now, it's more about: he abused the **** out of their minutes all season so tightening it more than everyone else now is just another personal Ime thing that has nothing to do with what's good for us. We've seen this before, and we've seen the result of this made up excuse. No one else waited till game 72 to figure these things out. Just seems like a rookie mistake he shouldn't be making in his third year. The most successful teams are resting their best players even though they risk an extra loss or two. Most of those teams are not deeper than us. We are more tired than those teams were when they rested their players. To me it's childish and it makes me not rule out fatigue-induced injuries. It's like clockwork with him, he pushes them to the brink, gets injuries, chills for a few games, then does it again. There's no strategy going in, it's plain old OCD.
For all the people who wanted to pretend like Ime had something tactical going on, the broadcast team mentioned during the game that Ime's BRIGHT IDEA is to wait till game 71 when muscles are fatigued to INCREASE THE PLAYERS' STAMINA. SEVENTY ONE GAMES INTO THE SEASON.
