Again.... anybody complaining about offense is ignoring our roster construction and injuries. Any intelligent observer can see we are deficient in playmaking with both Amen and Reed not being good enough. Again.... anyone who thinks Ime is the main concern doesn't watch the full games or understands basketball. Our big lineup isn't a gimmick but a necessity because of the lack of talent. It's very hard for ignorant folks to understand that the Rockets talent is just simply not as a good as they think.
And I can only assume that those who don’t like Ime would literally NOT like any other coach the Rockets would hire. If I’m wrong who, pray tell, is a great coach who is available, would accept the position, would lead this point guard-less team to the NBA Finals, AND NOT receive the kind of hate Ime has (and past rox coaches received). ????
Whether you like Ime or not, he's NOT going anywhere. He just signed a six year extension and I think is around the 4th highest paid coach in the NBA. You have to accept he's our coach, and probably for the next six years. I agree that the offense needs an identity and needs to run plays. KD is so good that there's a lot of just sitting around and watching. That's not going to win games in the playoffs. I hope Ime is experimenting on rotations to figure out what works best. It's a shame that it costs us some games. Winning on the road is crucial for the regular season and playoffs. Let's figure out how to do that. We need a PG or we need to let Reed run point more, I don't know which.
this roster was handpicked by udoka himself. no excuses now. he chooses the players and then blames them every postgame loss. nothing has ever been his fault. not only is he low iq and stubborn, but as we were warned with his off the court behavior in boston, he’s lacking character as well
Ime didn't choose for FVV to be injured.... or have his wing depth injured..... Ime isn't making Sengun make bad decisions on final plays.... And it's just simply lazy and dishonest to claim that Ime hand picked this roster.
We gave up 74 points in the second half, but people complaining about our offense. I’m more concerned about the defense. Reed had two wide open shots at the end of the game and came up with nothing. We drafted him to make shots. I think the Rockets are at times missing Fred’s stabilizing influence on the court. The regular season is just one long preseason in some ways. Let’s hope we can get everyone healthy and playing their best for the playoffs.
You have a control here to test your theory FVV played last year and we still had the same issues on offense. KD was supposed to magically fix it remember? I don’t get this gaslighting by people. Your question is easily verified and proven false To the no playmaking yesterday Reed had 7 assists and 0 TO through 1.5 quarters. Yes he is absolutely inconsistent but yesterday playmaking was not an issue when he was in you guys can’t keep any your points consistent. this coach doesn’t know what he’s doing on offense and is the common denominator. He also has no integrity (not surprising look at his last job) and blames every loss on the players playing lazy and scared

You calling it a moral victory is very dissmissive and you guys are acting very spoiled. We lost against a 7th seed and it wasnt a seventh seed and you guys are crying how we lost and im saying they werent really a 7th seed thats not a moral victory. Im saying they would have been a 2nd seed if they had jimmy all year last year and they were much tougher than their seeding. They were about to destroy the Twolves before Curry got injured. Regardless have Ime fired and Im gonna laugh at you guys when we still cant win close games with KD. Youre following the same playbook as everyone else. Ime isnt perfect his offense is bad but we still managed to win against good great teams last year. This isnt Ime its KD this same **** happened in BK him and Kyrie couldnt get out of the first round when harden left. they blamed the coach. This man had 2 championship coaches in Phoneix and got both of them fired. So get a new coach lets see how that goes. At this point im expecting a loss every night I dont belive in this team. I think we're worse than last year and I think this is how you guys are trying to cope with having old KD as a leader on your team. We need a new point guard. We dont need a new coach.
Last night's game was definitely a low point this season. But the season is 82 games long and there will always be a few games where we just fall apart and can't get the job done, even against horrible teams. Knee-jerk "Fire Ime!" threads with every loss are so tiring.

You beat teams by having them score outside the paint, but it seems like the Pelicans were getting hoop after hoop inside the paint. Jabari one of his 3 pointer in that 4th quarter is nothing short of YMCA stuff, did we forget Reed shot the ball 12 times and Amen shot 14 times while playing 41 minutes and let's not forget Sengun missed crucial 2 FTs than played dribble, dribble basketball knowing that he was going full Harden. New coach, or old coach the roster is assembled already and players need to man up. Ask Denver's Jokic, any coach he gets his team still wins.
