The Gasol trade would have been part of the Nene signing. Considering how awefull nene and gasol look these days, no thanks. They would have locked up our cap for years to come. Now we have ton of cap space in the offseason which means we can match offers for Lee and Dragic and be able to land a star as well something we couldnt do before.

Gasol wouldnt make us any better than we are now Gasol was soft before he came to LA. Without Kobe pushing him in 2009( they probably would have lost to the Magic) We would our toughest player for a soft player
