That we have a sports team to root for that's given us very fond memories. Just because they're in a rough spot doesn't mean we can't appreciate them. They may be a pathetic team right now, but they're our pathetic team.
Didn't this guy used to have inside info? Not that Im a negative nancy but his posts have to be satirical.
<br> Uh what...you're comparing something that was meant to relate to basketball to real life? Why exactly would I be thankful for what we have? Reliving past glory over again doesn't really do us any good currently. As far as your Seattle comparison goes, that would definitely suck. However, you're comparing apples and oranges again. We have a team, Seattle doesn't. Btw, I still think that's a travesty and Memphis or N.O. should be relocated, but I digress. The point is, it's obvious that things could pretty much always be worse. That being said, there's still no reason to be thankful for this sorry excuse of a team...
For those of you that are constantly complaining about how bad the rockets are this season why post in the thread? This thread is for the people who are thankful for having a sports team, those who are thankful for a wonderful organization, those who are thankful that even though our team is doing bad it still gives us something to cheer about. Fans Are the ones who stick with the team no matter what. For those of you Debbie downers out there if you don't have Anthony to be thankful for, then be thankful for the draft picks we are getting if we have a bad season.
not being sarcastic at all...being honest and straight forward...this ship will be turned around permanently starting at 730 tonight...just watch
^ This I was thinking the same too Thx Muddleman for playing Chuck more than Jordan Thx coach for being another Shemac giving up on the team coaching wise folding your hand the entire time. Thx for waiting or lead to evaporate before calling a much needed timeout. Etcccc
I am thankful...for an early season that still gives the Rockets room to improve and thrive in success
im thankful that I had the ability to turn this game off at halftime, and had the will to leave it off. I've never done that, ever. Thats how badly this season is pi55ing me off. I was eventually able to turn a grin 2 episodes into some 30 Rock with my girlfriend. I'm thankful because I'm probably in a MUCH better mood now than if I had watched the rest of that game. 3-10. geez. I don't remember a worse start. I'm thankful that I can find happiness outside of basketball during the basketball season.
I would much rather have a horrible record, with Blake Griffin than have a horrible record with Yao Ming
