    Probably follows the same development / playing time track that Patterson did last year.

    Wrong, Budingers PER against on defense was a very nice 12.7.

    People are just seeing what they want to see instead of the truth.

    what does that mean? never heard of that stat. PER against on defense?

    If we get a big center who can actually protect the rim, it would be nice to have the option to play a bruising lineup to make up for Martin's lack of D like the following:

    5-[Fill in center]
    4-Patpat
    3-Morris
    2-Martin
    1-Lowry

    We can even plug Lee in for Martin if we really want tough lineup.

    "PER against" is misleading because it doesn't take into account the competition. I'd be interested in seeing PER against when he was a starter where he was matched up against other starter caliber players. When Battier was still here, which was most of the season, he marked their best wing, while Bud marked the backup.
