I'm sorry, but you're counting on a toothless lion.

Oh how do you know that huh? Because he had a bad last season? His knee was injured, but now he had the surgery and he recovered from it, and i think he's ready to start playing like he was 3 seasons ago (06-07 season.)

Our offense looked totally lost, twice I think Chuck Hayes got the ball in the post. I love Chuck and I love his new found offense, but he should not have the ball in his hands with shot clock winding down in the 4th.

Say what you want DD, but with the clock winding down, the offense grinds to a halt when the other teams' defensive intensity picks up. We need a scorer like TMac. A healthly TMac would have really helped in the 4th.

    That's a bid too optimistic.

I would be happy with him being the main distributor and collecting 16-18 points a game with 4-6 rebounds.

T-Mac is really good rebounded and We didn't loose because the rebounding, we lost this and other games, because once the one us or double or trap Brooks, we are doom. Team have started to scout us and know what to do to stop us. A player like t-mac in this team >>>>>> player like soft Camby.

Everybody hates McGrady so much because of last season. He did dissapoint us
last season, but he was injured, and he never let us down before, it was the
first time he let us down and with a good reason. Now he had surgery, and
(when) he's fully recovered, i know he can play like he did back in 06-07. Though
that is, if he is recovered, but even if he's not, if he takes his time to fully
recover from the surgery, he will play good again trust me. I believe in him, and i
trust he won't let us down.

Well it's just being realistic mate. He had micro surgery for goodness sakes. He is more than likely going to be less explosive and his first step is going to be even slower. He is still going to be a good player but coming back to 06-07 form is expecting a lot since the surgery has a huge impact on your athleticism. Hopefully T-mac has been working on his shot to let him be a better shooter. He definitely shot the three ball well last season (much better than at any time in his career) hopefully he'll do the same this season.

Although I agree we need T-Mac or a player of his abilities here, I will play devil's advocate and say, there's been many games he's also shot us out of the game as well.

But again, I agree. We need someone, whether it's Tracy or another playmaker.

06-07 T-Mac was already slow down a because of a mess up knees and shoulder. So saying that he can be something like that is a reasonable hope. Now saying he will Be Orlando's T-Mac is just and Pipe Dream.

    We need McGrady.

Who else is going to dribble out the shot clock and take (and miss) and fade-away 20 footer at the buzzer when he could have made it to the rim?

    We need Tmac!

Remember when he scoring 13 points in 3.5 seconds!!???

I'm with you on that too. I'm a Tracy-supporter. I'm just trying to give both sides of the coin. Even in the 22-win season, he wasn't healthy (looked like a damn mummy) and we still won plenty of games.

So long Adelman offense...so long having 4 players move without the ball...so long fast break points...

Welcome to high-screen and rolls only and a slow down, half-court offense

Look, i realise he didn't have just a regular surgery, but micro-fracture surgery,
but he keeps saying he is ready to play again, and he didn't look like he was
limping or anything in the most recent videos practicing. I just give him a chance
and believe in him, that's all. We'll see how he goes, i hope he proves me right...

Be honest, like I said twice in the 4th Chuck Hayes had the ball and took the last shot while he was well covered. Would you rather have Chuck do this or T-Mac?

The Rox are about to hit a crossroads pretty soon and TMAC will be the key.

    From Jonathan's blog on Chron.com

Hi John. Will Tracy play today @ Wolves? How close is he?

(He is out. In September, the Rockets scheduled an MRI for Nov. 23. He will likely will practice Monday. The Rockets will begin evaluating his readiness to play then. -- Jonathan)

His return will dictate what path we choose for the remainer of the season and even into 2010-11.
