    Yep.

    How can we forget?

Against the Jazz, neither Deke, Head, Hayes nor even Battier could score against the Jazz. Do you not remember that 67 point game where T-mac and Yao scored like >85% of the points while the rest of the team did nothing.

I still think we should of won, but it's amazing how bad this team was offensively. Fat Bonzi never got into shape either.

We aren't a half court team because why? What do you call all of the designed post ups for Landry, Scola and weirdly DA? Those don't usually occur in a non-half court set.

I actually like Ariza's defense, I think some times he tries to help others too much allowing his man to get open tho. Tonight towards the end of the game was an example of that.

As for T-Mac, I agree with your points, he could be very helpful to this team but I really have no idea what the organization has planned. I wish they would act one way or another. This anticipation is becoming annoying... :(

Omg DD are you gonna say that stuff everytime? The Rockets need him right now. Yes there playing well but when those shots are falling you know what happens. Do you want to risk that for the whole season?

For the last time, wait till he comes back and then talk about how he fits in.

If hes hot he can draw double-teams and get the ball to an open man. Makes everyones job easier.

We really aren't a half court team though. The Rockets are not going to run the whole game, most teams aren't that bad defensively. We definitely have to have half court sets otherwise we wouldn't know what do when the pace of the game slowed down. Bottomline, a half court game is not our strength, nor should we implement it for a long time.

My only disagreement with your post is what you wrote that's in bold. The TEAM should have stepped up!!! Players make plays TEAMS win games!!

True, but sometimes a superstar has to do what they have to do. That's my opinion. T-mac had his chance to advance and even though he was exhausted he should of pushed a little bit more and i bet people wouldn't be making fun of him right now.

May be not a strength but it is a necessity. And while they may prefer to run they are going to have to be able to play half court sets when it counts. Half court sets are also the screen and rolls that AB does with you insert the player and that can also be said of Ariza. Scola, DA, Landry and even Battier get the majority of their points when we are in half court sets. Battier, Scola, DA, Bundinger are set shooters man. As this season progresses with whomever remains, this will be come more clear. Success when it counts, in the playoffs, requires it and I do believe that we will make it in.

T Mac was injured thats why his performance went down plain and simple.

He will be a great fit for the team, he doesn't need to take all of the shots.

Remember a while back when everybody was crying because he wasn't taking enough shots when he was trying to set up his other players.

Remember the other players openly stating that they would stand around and wait for T Mac to make a play. I'm sure if we don't trade him that he will fit in great with this team and he will require a double team which will open things up more for everybody else.

I also think he will shoot a higher percentage because this is a lot different offense that is more in line with his strengths. In the past it was always Yao clogging up the midde and T Mac had to shoot to many jump shots.

Insert a name from that year's team and your statement also remains true. People just elect to pinpoint him for whatever their motives are. I like this team's chances with him rather than without him. Until a trade is made by Morey, I will remain optimistic where T-Mac is concerned.

And how is your magical center going to get the ball? Which center creates plays for himself?

Obviously our offense is going to be better with fast breaks. I can guarantee you with McGrady in there, it will be similar. More shorts = More points.

If my grandma had testicles she'd be my grandpa.

Fact of the matter is, we need someone who can create for themselves and give others great looks in crunch time. The only people who can do that on the team are Yao and T-mac.

I knew there was going to be 10 of these dumb knee jerk threads as soon as the game was done. We're 6-5 and we've lost to Dallas, LA, Phx, and Portland. Its not like we were blown out, it was all games we could have won. Its still early in the season, coach will make his adjustments. I don't think Tmac is the answer. Instead, I don't think we need Hayes, Ariza, and Battier all in the game at the same time. I think you have to put in Anderson, Lowry, or Budinger for one or two of them to get some offense going
