Bullard is great! I love that he constantly tries to jinx the other team's free-throw shooter. Anyone noticed that?

I like Bullard. He's optimistic and insightful, generally well-spoken, and goes back a long time with the Rockets.

In fact, I think he might be an eventual play-by-play guy. Worrell is getting up there in years and maybe just a bit senile.

I did like Van ... too bad people [here, on this site] couldn't get past his accent.

I prefer a smart color analyst.

Bullard is not smart. Smart is someone who gives you unique insight, before you begin to see things develop. Bullard is mayonnaise on platitudes. Clyde is captain obvious.

If you get smart and entertaining energy, you've got something special. We haven't seen that in a while. Calvin was fun, with a good mix of street smart, but he wasn't Einstein.

I wouldn't mind if Bullard were hit by a large truck, and permanently removed from Rocket broadcasts, if that were somehow possible without serious injury otherwise. In karma terms, he'd have to get a lot of fishing or something else he enjoys, but that's not that much of a trade, because he obviously doesn't care enough about broadcasting to be anything special.

The only problem with that is Les might bring back Cooper.
