I don't really mind the Spurs, probably because Tim Duncan seems like a nice guy, I hate the Mavs more because of Mark Cuban and I hate Kobe and Lebron. But Duncan? He's not that bad.
I find it really hard to hate the Spurs. What I hate are Spurs fans. I live in San Antonio. I know Spurs fans. A bunch of fat, middle-aged Mexican women with Ginobili t-shirts. They're also a bunch of band-wagoners. If the Spurs had been less successful over the past fifteen years, this fact would be more apparent. The only time I root against the Spurs is when I know it'll crush their supporters and keep them from driving around honking their horns and flashing their lights at two in the morning. Other than that, they're a classy organization, and now that Bowen is gone I have nothing against them.
