All the wins are credited to McLady not his teammates nor coaches. All losts are due to his teammates or coaches.

Sounds familiar, doesn't it? People are often quick to forget the contributions of the other role players during that time. Deke + J. Ho played out of their minds. Battier guarded all the best wing players, relieving t-mac of those duties, while Head + Battier also shot the ball very well during that time frame. If not for those players stepping up, do you honestly believe we would of gotten the record we did?

In this season, with TMac on the court, we beat Utah, Lakers, Suns, Detroit, San Antonio, Denver, Nets, that's why we still have o.500 tatio right now.

Looking at his nickname and judging by his statements, obviously, he is T-Mac-prone, right? In his opinion, maybe, everything good is done by T-mac and everthing bad is done by others and, another maybe, by ClthceFans...

    LOL :D

I'm not saying T-mac doesn't play a hand in helping us win. I'm just merely stating that people are quick to throw out the record w/o Yao while ignoring the other contributing factors.

Maybe Maclady is never be proud of one member of Rockets.
with Yao, we only need more hard penetration to kill any opponent

Let me just replace one word with your statement, Ok? :p

In this season, with Yao(or Rafer...) on the court, we beat Utah, Lakers, Suns, Detroit, San Antonio, Denver, Nets, that's why we still have o.500 tatio right now....

I think people here are trying to say that he needs to play with heart and passion which could be proved by his attitude on the defense side, movement on the offense end and how soon and well he will fit into RA's system when he comes back.

He was great and 'he is still great' needs himself to step up and show it for us. If this is gonna be ture, we barely need a trade( i mean a trade which might involve any one in the team) and I m sure we are going to the second round of the plaoffs.

Yeah, how bout we're running out of time. As they say the window is closing! Im not disagreeing with you; rahter I hate the fact that this has become a transition year without enough brightspots to come back with next year considering the age of most of our new contributors to be around 29 or 30 years old

We need Luther to be more agressive and not think so hard. It is not a sin to come inside the 3 point line for a shot!

We should be using him much like Ray Allen; he should just come off a pick and shoot it!

    wow. just wow.

think about it guys, last year, yao goes out and we go 21-12 without him, cus of tmac AND others stepping up.

this year, tmac goes out for a lil bit and we go 4-2 with yao AND others stepping up...

obviously its not a literal statement when someone says tmac carried us. yao is doing the same right now.

I don´t see the point on this discussion, the team has been 4-2 for the last 6 without TinMac, if when he is back we get back to be a flat bball team, then he is a great player but sucks as a team player, if we continue on this same stretch, then he is not a god nor a devil, if we go on secure winning streaks then he might be all many people here think´s he is.

I think TinMac will have a hard discussion with himself, allow others to play, to score and to have some flashes while winning risking his own stats, or continue being the sore looser he has been lately but to continue putting 25ppg.

I hope, for the sake of the team, that he chooses the first option and becomes more of a team member and not team center.

Tmac should pass more, run more, defend A LOT more!

Often I cannot bear with his sloppyness. I wish he could work consistently hard most of the time, if not everytime.

I don't know this is true or not.
"Tmac can not be a leader but He don't like others be his leader neither."

When he came to the Rockets, after that 35s play, Yao and others show enough to agree this is his team but.....

Yao do so many screens for him but he don't R back to Yao.

    is this support my point?

    I agree - t-mac should do more.

He should make more of his shots and therefore score more. He should make more free throws too. He should pass more as well and get at least 10 assists per game like nash. And he should be getting 10 rebounds as well because he is six foot eight.

And he needs to run more without the ball. I think he can start by running around the city of Houston every morning. That's more running without the ball.

He should also give more to charity. He should bring Yao green tea before the game to help him relax - that's what a true leader would do. T-mac should also take the team out for ice cream when they lose and take them bowling when they win.

I also think that t-mac should stop complaining about his injuries and instead put on a cheerleader outfit and learn some Yao Ming cheers and join the Houston Rocket Dance girls. He might look good in some tights and a glitter top.

Doesn't T-mac understand that the Rockets are everything, and he must sacrafice everything for the team. All worship the team and because t-mac is not a good leader and doesn't do everything he should be traded away for someone who will fall in line and be a good soldier.

actually, the proper term is satire.

It's actually been used by quite a few people to make sophisticated points. For example Geoffrey Chaucer, considered by many as the father of English literature, used it quite extensively to make political points in his day.

I'm proud of the Rockets too, but I'm really confused by your name for T-Mac.

First of all, you replaced a unisex name (Tracy) with another unisex name (Stacy). I mean, if both names are more commonly given to females, why is that necessary? Seriously, wtf?

Second, as was mentioned before, his name is McGrady, so it should have been McLady.

Third, what's wrong with being a lady in the first place? I wish to god T-Mac played with the heart of a Cynthia Cooper.

Who does that authority/right/position belong to? If you're going to say God, spare me because I'm an atheist. Now, assuming the poster lives in the United States of America, he has the right to express just about any opinion he wants. He can deny the existence of the holocaust if he wants. Most people will think him stupid, but he has the right anyway. If he lives elsewhere, I'm still pretty sure he has the right to rip on McGrady. I sincerely doubt that's a punishable offense anywhere outside of the McGrady home.

What I'd like to know is this; who gave you the authority/right/position to tell people what rights they have?

Lastly, you told him he doesn't have the right to denigrate McGrady with name calling, but then you finished by calling him a name. Nice.

It's amazing this team is actually at .500 this season instead of 4-29 or something. It's even more amazing this team won 50+ games last year.

I mean, we have a supersoft headcase star wing, a supersoft super slow star center, the worst starting PF in the league, the worst starting PG in the league, an extremely limited and overrated defensive wing, two dumbass coaches who does not make the rotations favored by fans.

My God, how does this team even win one single game?
